$CHTR - BREAKING - WATCHLIST -
🕑 Added 2025-05-16 13:04:40 +0000 UTC'Charter Communications is merging with Cox Communications in a deal likely to shake up the U.S. cable industry.
The two companies said ahead of the opening bell that they would combine in a deal valuing the privately held Cox at about $34.5 billion.
Shares in Charter, which operates the Spectrum pay TV and internet services, jumped 8% in premarket trading. Futures tracking the S&P 500 were up 0.3%.
If regulators approve the deal, it would create a vast new company with a presence across the country. Charter has about 31 million customers, and Cox has around 6.5 million.'
So now we know so many Superinvestors were adding $CHTR over the last few quarters without any obvious news.....many must have known that this merger was on the table.
$CHTR is not green in the PM but the impulse wave count has not changed and the price is at the breakout green line now at $413.
Holding above this level and we are in the Bull Case and I can confirm the Wave 3 target at the 1.618 Fib at $597.
Chart does look good, news is positive and superinvestors like it.
Strong consideration with a hold above $413.
