$AMD TOP 20
🕑 Added 2025-04-20 10:31:33 +0000 UTC$AMD started the week strong and ran to $96 from $76 and unfortunately a further sanction on chips to China was announced by Trump and the semi sector pulled back aggressively, a further catalyst that was not needed at that time as these positions were trying to recover.
The market had no idea that this announcement would be made, so there will always be a negative reaction to them, this is new information that the market has not known.....which tells us that if these spontaneous announcements continue, it is very difficult to see how the market can break out of this ABC count we have been following.
$AMD did hold on the small green 0.618 Fib at $84 to finish the week, so we will see how the price action can perform this week and if the higher low is now in.
The CEO of $NVDA was in China this week too to build relations, this may cause some further tension, we will watch this closely.
Plan remains the same here, holding $AMD and it is a comfortable long term hold.
