february thoughts:
this month has been all about being health conscious for me
i read atomic habits and i swear it just lit the fire underneath me
i think ive been allowing myself to indulge and heal but now im ready for action!
mid february i started walking and now i walk 2 hrs everyday (about 5 miles) and i LOVE IT
i also am getting back into the groove of going to the gym :D
i ALSO have been going to the park regularly and its crazy how much i KNOW my body loves to be outdoors yet sometimes i just dont actively make those things happen
but i also give myself some compassion bc i think your 20s are so new like you just spend beginning years of your whole life in school and being told what to do and what not
but omg it excites me!!! the idea that im only 27 and i have learned this much, i cant wait to meet 37 jodi.
i think this health kick is also just part of my 'dream self'
in the beginning of this month, i wrote a note to myself and just envisioned my dream self, what she values, what does her daily routine look like, etc. i think i just LOVE self growth like i love being able to learn new skills and genuinely keep them. not everything sticks but i love continuing to try and see what works
ive also been trying to just come to terms with my appearance changing! i think being a content creator just forces you to stare at yourself all day and i truly hate it hahaha like im sure you can imagine but i just hate looking at myself and perceiving myself allllll the time
but im like ok ya know what im insecure about x, y, z. i think i can actively try and love myself but i can also actively try and get myself to the gym. not only for my appearance but also bc im scared of getting older and having weak bones fr fr lol
im still iTCHING for something new. like dont get me wrong, i love streaming but i am itching for some new tHING but i dont know whattttttt. i really have been asking myself 'what am i passionate about' and im like GIRL DO YOU HAVE NO PASSIONS?! WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WHAT ARE YOUR TALENTS
alas, i still dont know
but if this is my limbo, i am very grateful that this is what it looks like
i truly never take my life for granted bc wowowowow
i think something my mom taught me when i was younger that always sticks with me is that everything is temporary. the good and the bad
i've been journaling regularly since i was like 16/17 and i swear it helps keep me grounded bc i have written evidence of life's ebbs and flows
anyways, cheers to self improvement and enjoying the little things and active effort to achieve our dreams <3
if there's anything i want to leave you with this month, it is that you will only rise to the beliefs you hold about yourself!!!!!!!!! remember to be kind to yourself and BELIEVE that you are deserving !!!!!!!!!
happy february everyone and here's to march :)

This post was very inspiring and comforting. Being in college has shown how difficult it is to focus on the things I enjoy, so it’s comforting to know that others are still finding their routines as well.

I love hearing more people getting into fitness to continue their growth and future life goals, gymming started recently for myself too and it’s been motivating truly 🙌
