Looking ahead
🕑 Added 2023-02-10 10:03:37 +0000 UTCWith the release of the last update now about a week behind us, I think it's always a good time to look ahead at how the development of the game is coming along.
The Tribes update was a pretty big one, both in terms of the amount of text, artwork and branching paths. I have also been working on another equally big story update for a different storyline, and my hope was to release that earlier this year as well, but having worked on the Tribes update, I've gotten a pretty good feel for the amount of art/extra work that it will take to finish that other particular update, so I think I'll be swapping some things around in my schedule to make sure that I can give that other big update the time/attention that it deserves, while also still delivering consistent releases on a (I hope) month-to-month basis.
So, that's the boring behind-the-scenes technical stuff; what am I actually working on to release for this month?
Well, it's wedding bells in Rosanna, because we're going to be giving the Marion-route an update.
Right now, marrying Marion means a rather quick end to the story. This new update will take the story further along, giving players a real chance to experience the consequences of their decision. The update won't tell the whole story, but it will give players a good feel for what that storyline will be about.
Additionally, I also hope to use this new update as a chance to also brush up the Varga/Sarah marriage as well. Right now, she marries Varga with relatively little art, and no unique outfit design, so hopefully I'll be able to expand on the Marion storyline while also improving the art for the Varga path as a nice extra.
As always, I'll continue to keep you all updated on the progress as it comes along. It's too early for a definitive date, but right now I feel pretty confident when I say end of this month.

Should be a thomas path in there too even if its short. I was getting Cersei and Jamie vibes in that first choice with him 😂
