this video awakened me to what my only real criticisms of taylor's outfits are: 1. too many completely seperate block colours (often up to five in an outfit and they don't tie into each other at all; it would be different if she was wearing something on top with a print/pattern that incorporated five colours and then the boots, bag, hat, pants all took a colour from that print/pattern, but it's literally just five seperate pieces that are all one different solid block colour) and she doesn't know how to style an ankle boot (she always pairs them with a miniskirt and either a jacket that hits her right on the hips or a tiny shirt or both and everything ends up being too short and blocky; there's no balance of proportions). anything else she wears that i don't like is just because we all occassionally wear a piece that's actually simply ugly. but in terms of how she puts outfits together and what could be improved upon those are the only two things to me.

Yep this is all true😂 It just looks like the flower pants in the recording video bc of the flowers that are on the table. That pic was taken in May when she was still with Matty. But she is actually wearing the black biker shorts. So The Black dog was recorded the day she wore the biker shorts and grey sweatshirt and that was late June, after her and Matty ended. So you are right abt the timeline haha❤️❤️

i’ve actually discovered that the flower jean picture is NOT from the day she recorded the black dog. if you look closely at the picture of her sitting and recording it, she is wearing black biker shorts and there is a bouquet of flowers that is making it look a bit like those jeans!!!

Girls please don’t feel you have to explain having a personal preference like just not caring for long coats. Sometimes you just like what you like! Like I don’t like house/dance music and I couldn’t give you a list of reasons why it just doesn’t sound good to my earholes. PS I live in Tennessee and it gets just as cold here as it does in nyc and you’ll catch me in layers and a hoodie I hate wearing a coat!

I don’t actually think that was the day she recorded The Black Dog, especially since that song has so many Matty references. If you look closely of the video of her singing it looks like she has on black biker shorts. So I think she recorded it on the day she was wearing the grey Eagles crewneck sweatshirt, but took off the sweatshirt & had on a white tee underneath. It almost looks like the sweatshirt is on the couch in the background of that video. I’m also absolutely looking way too hard at this lol but she was with Matty when she had on that white tee & printed jeans outfit and I’ve convinced myself that The Black Dog is about him lol

Her casual outfits are definitely preferable to me over the upscale ones (for chiefs game days specifically), however then when compared with her usual street style they still don’t come out on top at alllll because she looks so slay when she goes for dinner and stuff! I think her chiefs merch is super cute and perfect for the context of a football game however then when I’m analysing as a standalone outfit I’m still like, well yeah it’s just a casual outfit 😂

I tried to do this tier ranking myself while watching this video and I was exhausted and almost got a headache at the end of it. I commend you for your service, ladies! ❤️ I actually realised, when I really get into it, a lot of outfits have something that I don't like (often it's the shoes). So while at first glance they were cute, I had a really hard time ranking them. Also I am convinced that Taylor is a spring, and when I start analyzing her outfits I found black feels heavy on her. My fave outfits were the horse girl outfit, the outing with Gracie outfit and everything she wore for Jack Antonoff wedding.

ladies i'm going to give you some american fashion education: it is very very typical for people to wear college sweatshirts/tshirts from colleges we never went to!! like girlies who never went to harvard are always wearing harvard shirts!!! so it was pretty slay & very relatable for taylor to wear an NYU sweatshirt even though she technically didn't go to school there

i think you guys should keep in mind that sometimes taylor is going to wear more casual stuff to chiefs games! at the end of the day she's not going out on the town or going to dinner... she's going to watch her boyfriend play football! i just don't think those looks should be ranked lower just because they're not groundbreaking! why would they be!! all i'm saying is that overall for next year when you do taylor's 2025 fashion to remember this! just like how you guys took the cold weather into account, you should take into account the fact that taylor could just show up to the games in a chiefs sweatshirt, jeans, and sneakers, but she doesn't! even when she's wearing a sweatshirt she pairs it with a cute skirt, boots, jewelry, or a jacket/hat depending on the weather! we can't always expect her to wear what she wears in new york to these games!

Please don’t throw tomatoes at me: honestly, to me Taylor’s style can be very hit or miss. A lot of the fits either don’t flatter her body or don’t mesh with how they’re accessorized. Just about anything boxy on her that I’ve seen is a 👎🏻. Also, just like the rest of us, not every color works on her. That woman is too beautiful to spend any time in an unflattering outfit.

To be fair, I agree the long coat silhouette wasn't as cute on Taylor as some of her other winter outfits from the past. I think an era where she SLAYED at winter outfits was the 1989 era. Her sweaters/coats with cute jeans and booties in the winter were so CUTE in that era and I loved that style more so than her 2024 winter style
