As a Pittsburgh girlie, I feel so blessed with the acoustic set she gave us both nights. I saw her live Night 2 and was speechless when Aaron came out to play Seven. My theory on the two's is this (not being able to sleep and my mind just wandering and came up with this): Taylor has been referencing 'two' for some time now, with saying it and then holding up two fingers. I was thinking why would she say it and then want to hold up two fingers after? I have very little doubt that Elliott Smith's 'Miss Misery' was part of the reason that this song wasn't released when written. That song was nominated for an Oscar as part the of Good Will Hunting soundtrack in 1998 so the title would have been well known across the industry when Taylor wrote it. (I'm really surprised that hasn't been said much since she released this on the TV album.)

My theory with Joe potentially cheating is that based on Taylor’s music, it would make sense if he emotionally cheated. Maybe the Great War is about Taylor thinking he’s physically cheating on her and being wrong but later she realizes his relationship with his costar is him emotionally cheating.

As for the cheating rumors, I didn't want to believe it, but apparently there are multiple occurrences. The most glaring was Emma, who posted pics of a bed at the Bowery hotel, clearly including the Bowery monogram. Then she (Taylor) saw references to her (Emma) in the Tortured Man Club chat. I'm missing pieces, but there was a Tiktok (I know that's a crapshoot) with the pics, dates, and correlations to the dinner with the Reynolds and unfollow-gate. Regardless, he clearly didn't value her as she deserved, whether he cheated or not. However, if he was that emasculated (by her power and career), I have little doubt he did as a way to recapture his manhood.

i love the patreon videos so much! you both are so funny and relaxed and it's so fun to watch! you just missed the part where taylor said that the following day was father's day in the video. father's day is the third sunday in june in the u.s. aaron is from cincinnati, and the sports teams from the two cities are big rivals in football and baseball. the allegheny river and the monongahela river meet in pittsburgh and those two rivers create the ohio river, that flows west along the entire southern boarder of ohio to cincinnati (where travis and jason went to college). acrisure stadium, where she was playing that night, sits at the confluence of the rivers. it seems random to people who don't live in the area, i'm sure, but rivers are a huge part of the identity of the city of pittsburgh

Curious if anyone has ever considered whether or not Taylor and Joe could’ve been in an open relationship for a time? There are lyrics that I feel like might hint at this in illicit affairs and a few other songs on folklore and midnights. They spent a lot of time apart while Joe was away filming. And he was in a film about navigating an open (non-monogamous) relationship. Taylor spent time with Matty Healy while writing midnights. They are friends with Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal, who had an open relationship. I do wonder if it’s something they tried. Maybe Joe convinced her to try it and Taylor hated it and decided it was something she didn’t want to do anymore, but Joe continued to see someone. This is all obviously just speculation, but I feel like it could make sense.

Love this as always! Just a little geography lesson: Pittsburgh exists because 2 rivers, the Monongahela and the Allegheny, combine there to form the Ohio River. The Ohio River then flows to Cincinnati, Ohio, the home of Aaron Dessner (and the college where Travis and Jason Kielce went!). The rivers are really important in Pittsburgh, so even though it was not making sense to Taylor, I think the audience got it, mostly at least.
