And another thing…lol…Taylor always keeps making fun of herself as a dancer when in reality she’s actually quite good! I don’t understand why she thinks she’s bad?! I get that for this video, she was exaggerating her awkwardness to be funny but every time I see her dance, she is slaying!

I’m having a moment right now of fathoming Taylor transitioning to pop music…I never understood why it was such a big deal. She is still the same songwriter and her songs are still the same when you strip them down to the basic acoustic versions that they all start out out as. Also, why do we expect artists to only stick to one genre of music forever? That’s like asking us as music lovers to only listen to one genre of music. That’s ridiculous and not even possible. So why is it such a big deal? I DO see how the industry is beginning to change probably because Taylor taught everyone that it was not only possible, but beneficial to show versatility because that’s what being a human is. It’s a mix of everything so music should be free like that.

I absolutely love Me!

I’m really needing a 1989 vault breakdown. I simply cannot get excited about Slut! I’ve tried.

I was thinking could you guys watch the two Victoria Secret shows on here?? 💙

By the way, the way I've also always interpreted that MV is that the different dance styles represent her trying out and exploring her SOUNDS. By that point in her career she had started doing that and obviously we know now how much more and far she explored. But I always saw it as "I cannot and WILL NOT be confined to only one genre of music, I will do my own thing because that's what I love." And oooh what a beautiful message to go back to now that we've had all those 5 other albums after 🥹💙

I still have yet to get my one aquamarine green vinyl. It was the only album I ordered and it’s still only has a shipping label created.

Eras tour returns today!!! 🩵 So so excited/scared to get back into the surprise song days!!🥺

Laila Duffy

Also I just wanted to say how aesthetically pleasing your setup is - the blue vase and flowers, candles, lights, vinyls... It's beautiful 😍

Micah

I can’t believe you’re just now fathoming all the dancing. This is maybe my favorite ts music video because of the message. Especially coming off of the hate she was getting for her dancing at award shows at the time.

Awww, I loved this you guys!! Bonnie, you totally messed me up with your refathoming of Shake it Off!! I've always felt like that awkward kid that never really fit in.. I really feel like that's why I took to Taylor at a young age, bc I've always been able to relate! Also, I cannot wait to watch NEW secret song reactions from the Eras tour starting back this weekend!! ❤️

AllyJane

Looks like you can line up the inside of the vinyls to make bigger film strip to display 😱

OK THANK U EM FOR SHOWING SUBURBAN LEGENDS SOME LOVE! I have not been hearing enough swifties giving that song the attention it deserves!! The entire vault is offensive let’s be honest!!!!

Karolina

Yep, you fathomed. What a surprise

Karolina

She makes the moves up as she goes which is why she’s learning all those different dances. It’s a metaphor to figuring out her life as she goes. Then it’s just her in black clothes which is like a canvas and it’s also where she has her new hair down (as opposed to the other scenes). She’s just showing who she is. (Also I don’t know if you fathom that in the video because I just started watching lmao)
