I think its the hate for her lack of action that I understand, but with that being said after seeing her getting demeaned by the superiors at the school even should really put into perspective that she's just a victim - this season gets her right i think and the people who still hate after the later season episodes are crazy

I can’t stand the hate gets thrown Kate’s way. She was GROOMED and CONDITIONED to use her powers the way she did and of course that’s all she knows now so yes she has to do the work to unlearn all that. But let’s not forget who is really to blame here.
