Honestly the fighting amongst AOT fans was way worse back when the manga was still releasing chapters and also somehow became even more toxic when the later seasons of the anime was airing. AOT fans had a bad reputation of being absolutely feral over the years in the anime community, for some reason the fans loved fighting/attacking each other, other anime fans and the author/animators over opinions of the series but they were insanely insufferable during the whole time that ‘The Final season’ aired ( which lasted 3 unnecessarily long years ). They have definitely chilled out quite a bit though since the anime ended 2-3 years ago but unfortunately you still get those toxic individuals who just can’t help themselves. It’s really best just to ignore them, so you can still enjoy the show
