Gladys getting ripped apart at the end reminds me so much of the Attack on Titan Season 2 Finale when Eren commands the titans to kill the titan that ate his mother. In both scenes, the head is pulled apart at the mouth... so brutal.

Jonathan Blevins

That was good!!!

Don

Ooohh I'm feening for aot

Hannah Beynon

Honestly wasn't expecting it to be that good and oh my GOD the ending?? 10/10 film for me

Derek

The director said he just liked it being there because it’s open to interpretation. Which feels like a lame excuse to me considering how the rest of the movie plays out. Think he did it more for the “it looks cool” (it doesn’t) rather than actual story telling

Chris

loved watching this with you guys!

Raygene English

Have y’all done black phone yet? The sequel comes out in October

BRIDGECO

WAIT GUYS i have no clue why the style switched halfway through 😂😂

Chrissy

“We got rid of the baby” 😂😂😂 So glad you watched this, great movie!

Mauro Nicolas

Not even 2 mins and you guys are a treat every time. 'We got rid of the baby' 😂

MetalBabe Sami

Alice from Perks? No she’s not in the movie. If you’re talking about the teacher, that’s Julia Garner from Ozark.

MetalBabe Sami

I knew you guys would love it! I agree that we don’t need more about Gladys. Not knowing is scarier to me. My friend thought the ending ruined the movie bc she didn’t think it should be funny…I totally disagree! I loved it!

Raygene English

This movie might be playing on how children act during and after trauma of school shootings.. because why is there a gun visual in the sky? Also the line that only some of the kids started speaking again…life goes on and counselors that’s what they do when school shootings happens

Raygene English

My parents started to fall asleep to this because they thought it was too weird . But that old lady definitely played one of the inbred people in Barbarian

BRIDGECO

It’s a brand new tv 😭😭😭 I’ve adjusted the picture settings on it now though!

BRIDGECO

Read them last couple lines 🫡💜

Targary

I've seen many epic movie endings but the ending to weapons was one of the best conclusions and the most satisfying after everything Gladys did to Alex. Overall it was a amazing movie the POV's of the characters leading up was excellent. From Barbarian to Weapons I can't wait for Zach Cregger's next movie.

I seen in in theaters and it was awesome

What else to watch: if you enjoy how storylines are introduced and interwoven in this movie -- Magnolia (1999) is a must watch. My only caution is that the runtime is 3h 4m. Worth it though. Magnolia (1999). Please let me know if you've seen it already!

The entire sequence at around 30 minutes had me forget to breathe, then had my adrenaline shoot through the roof. Then the car door opened out of frame and I tried to crawl backwards through the wall.

Mauro

Idk if you guys heard about the alternative ending Zach cregger talk about. It would’ve been dope but also complicated to film. Apparently the teacher and Alex would recruit ppl to fight the aunt and the kids. Basically good defeating evil

E. H.

Detecting more than one similarity to direction throughout the film Magnolia (1999) and I am very happy about it.

alex !!

20:00 the song!! i need u guys to watch russian doll 😭

Daphne O'Reilly

Isn't that the woman from The Perks of Being the Wallflower? The one that was rich but would still steal jeans? I barely recognized her with short hair

Wesley Lambert

Take your time on AOT no rush just happy to have something to watch none the less!!

Dan Snead

I saw this in theaters with my wife. We love your content! This reaction will be fun.

Talitha

Ah, I went and saw this in theatres (my first time in a cinema in a while) and I thought it disappointed. I feel like they didn't capitalize enough on the unique horror elements and the end wasn't satisfying at all. People in my theatre were laughing and that's just the last way you want to leave a horror film. And the overlapping story-telling, the character vignettes, were an interesting approach but it sort of resulted in a soft launch of the "reveal" which took away a lot of its power. Plus, I got the impression it was trying to say something more profound metaphorically...I mean, it was called "weapon" and there was that random dream with the ak47 in the sky...but that never went anywhere. It just felt like a film that was edited in post around a plot or story that they no longer wanted to include. Anyway, to each their own for sure. I'm glad you guys liked it. It was just disappointing to me. I have high hopes for The Long Walk and even the Conjuring 5 so hopefully we still have some good horror coming up this year. :)

It’s so funny everyone assumes Naruto running. The script specifically names the photo of the napalm girl from Vietnam. That idea of moving/ running with deliberate intention. I’m also obsessed with readings of this story. It’s about addiction. It’s about child abuse. It’s about police brutality. It’s about systemic blindness and oppression. It’s about parasites. It’s about school shootings. It’s about witchcraft. It’s about the dangers we invite into our homes and then threaten all we hold dear. Fuck me I love this movie.
