Sorry, I'm just too tired [update]
🕑 Added 2024-02-05 08:38:49 +0000 UTCThe main part of the archive has been sent out but the comic archive will be sent out later. I haven't also finished my server like planned... Here's my confession (bolded parts if you don't want to read all text)
I know I've already been delayed with rewards this month, but unfortunately, I just don't have the strength to finish the archive at the moment. There's still shading and text for two pages of the comic, and I will definitely send the archive as soon as I finish it! But at the moment, it's just not possible. I've been feeling increased fatigue for the past couple of months, strong fatigues - for the past couple of weeks, and the last couple of days it's been physically difficult for me to even sit and hold the stylus, everything is blurry in front of my eyes, my usual ADHD and forgetfulness have reached their maximum. Yeah, I was supposed to rest in the medical facility but I didn't...
Today, in the morning, my cat broke my French-press. The tea, shards, and grounds are still on the floor because I don't want to clean it up. I'm too tired, I don't care. Let it lie there, and I'll lie down, too
Perhaps from the outside, the work of an artist seems exciting and easy, but it's not entirely true. However much we love this activity, we all experience constant mental, emotional, and physical overload, everyone has health problems. Being an artist, you're either poor or overworked. And sometimes you also have to deal with things like online bullying and harassment, blackmail, fraudsters, and so on, which also don't contribute to productive creativity. Not to mention that some unscrupulous people constantly undermine income and reputation, leaking everything that is done for you, people who sincerely want to support creativity and the life of the creator with their donations... Okay, I'm getting off topic.
What I wanted to say is: I have to take a break for an indefinite period. I can't say for sure if it's just fatigue, or part of an illness, but creativity in this condition is no longer possible. Since 2013, I've only taken a break of more than 5 days twice, and both times because I was hospitalized (by the way, always around this time of year). It seems I'm close to that again, so there will be very few posts in February :(
I'm not putting Patreon on pause yet, but I feel it's necessary to warn you about this. Maybe I'll come up with rewards that won't require so much effort from me, or maybe I'll just turn off monetization for a while. I also apologize separately to those who are expecting commissions or just a conversation from me!
In any case, everything will be fine! And thank you so much for being here ❤️

This seriously makes me wish I could hug you. I can't afford the high tiers all the time but I'd keep supporting you even if you stopped posting - you've been an inspiration to me for so long I just want to repay that, you deserve it and to feel better than you do. To be treated better than people have treated you.

Take your time with things, I'll continue to support even if there's no art output :3

take time for yourself Iskra, change of scenery, take time for yourself to recharge your batteries. It hurts to know someone as kind as you has problems like that. Even if you don't do anything for the month or the next, that's not why I'm withdrawing my subscription. you already give us a lot with your art :) even if we can let you know in any way👍 your health above all, without health we are nothing. really sorry also for what you have to endure from certain malicious people, unfortunately I think that many professions must suffer their... courage to you Iskra, we are with you 🙂

Take all the time you need, Iskra. I know what it’s like to feel overworked and burned out. Have a good rest! ☺️

Take some time for yourself.

People don't always realize how hard it can be for an artist if you're working yourself every single day. Most jobs have vacation time for a reason! Take a break, you need time to physically and mentally rest, and that's ok.
Bench
Take all the rest you need, it's important to pave oneself in any line of work but especially important in creative endeavours.

Deep breath. It’ll be alright. Take care of yourself first and foremost. Your own wellbeing is paramount.

You have been working non-stop for a number of years! I think a rest is well deserved

I think maybe you're not getting enough exercise. Spend a few hours each day to just go outside and take a long walk. Our bodies aren't meant for sitting in a chair all day, it's important to stay physically active.

Enjoy your vacation~ While you're resting, this could be a good opportunity to share some of your older work on social media (Twitter/X/etc), in order to get more eyes on you and grow your followerbase. You make a lot of wonderful art, but much of it seems fated to remain locked away and hidden behind paywalls. Leakers are a constant plague in the art world, but you could potentially get partly ahead of the problem by picking and choosing what you'd like the general public to see. Selecting out some choice bits to share and repost a few times per week could be a good simple way to stay productive without overtaxing yourself. People are always hungry for good art, not everyone has seen all your work before, and there's no shame in strutting your stuff and loudly putting yourself on display. :3

Rest up! We're all behind ya and will be here if you feel you're ready!

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing fatigue. Please take all the time you need to rest and recover. Don't worry about art until you've rested and recovered.
Kapitan
Oh no you poor thing! Take as much of a break as you need. I'm glad to keep paying, it's the right thing to do.
ShyCyborg
Just take the break you need to Iskra! Its sad to hear that you feel overworked and have a hard time to be productive. Come back when you feel like it! For me I'd wish I could stay to support you even if you are on break :) Your art is among the best from the whole Furry Fandom in my opinion.
Stratilz
Take the time you need, but take it.

Pretty sure this community understands that you're a person and not just an art machine and you're definitely in need of a break, hope you feel better soon :)
