Sketches and WIPs!
🕑 Added 2023-01-16 17:23:13 +0000 UTCNot very much but still! Gonna work on these the next 5-6 days ^^
1,2 - Mai Pinup! I'm willing to animate this one as well but I'm not sure I'll be able to do it this month ><
3,4 - Kaylina and Asia Pinup! Seems like the cat guy isn't too glad. But hey, there's a nice view after all!
5 - WIP for Synariel's commission ^^
6 - I've compiled my artworks since 2002 to see how Vera (and my art skill) developed in 20 years :3 I think that 2016 Vera is the best one and I should get back to that style ^^ Also, if you're interested in really old works (before 2015), you can find them there - https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1y8euxdJLMFHfGpSuevx-HxNspYOIUlKf?usp=share_link

Wonderful, no matter how much time passes your arts will always impress, unique, I discovered your arts in 2014, more specifically "Vera -Smells like war".

I've really got to question Asia's tastes. I may applaud her interest in Kaylina but pancakes and a milkshake?

Really neat to see your progression as an artist. Your talent and style have improved/evolved so much and your persistence has really paid off as you're one of the finest artists I've seen.
Synariel
Damn, because your pics look so good with such a great handle on anatomy, i've always thought you learned at an art school
Iskra
Thank you C:
Iskra
Nah, I think I simply had more practice ^^
Iskra
Well, seeing how slow was the development, you can guess - self taught ^^ I spent so many years learning maths and didn't have much time for drawing ('till 2013), so basically I started learning and practicing only then :3
Synariel
Did you go to art school or are you self taught?

Crazy jump in style from 2010-12. Not sure if you started to find your style or took a class but its a BIG change. Arguabley, 2018 is the best i think. Though 16 is real nice too.

Twenty years of progress and improvements... That's why you are the best, congratulations Iskra!
Battle Tiger
That progression really makes that growth very visible and is very awesome to just even look at. I can't wait to see where you'll be at in the next few years!

That progression shows just how much persistence pays off! And also that Vera was fun from the start.

A huge difference between 2010 and 2012! Did you take an masterclasses during this time?
Dimitri
the five works are just magnificent without exception, I adore them all :D it's incredible that Vera's existence already goes back so far, and her evolution to the point that she is unrecognizable, very beautiful Iskra, bravo ;)

Great stuff! Love seeing the evolution of Vera <3

I think my favorite vera design id the 2014, but I also really like the 2016 as well (just something about the coloring and line art). It's so interesting seeing your work throughout the years. Thanks for sharing. Do you have time lines like this for all your characters? I'm looking forward to the pin ups as well. Mai is absolutely gorgeous
