I am having problems, I will pause Patreon the next month.

I have lived with my mother and sister for 3 years alone, my father abandoned my mother since she required medical attention for cancer disease. I have taken care of she from that moment and thanks to you my patrons, we have been able to cope with this, until now.
My mother recovered for a year but relapsed again in February of this year, the tumor returned and this days she has been in really poor health and I fear for her life, I have called hospitals this months and there is no availability for patients other than Covid situation.
The hospital where she was treated two years ago will also be open until July and my mother is having much problems for wait one more month, I am desperate because I do not have any other support from a relative and my sister does not have a job for this same (covid) situation. A private hospital is so expensive than what I have, I can only keep praying every day for her to last a little longer. I am depressed, frustrated.
My Patreon will have a pause, and sorry, I use to pause my patreon sometimes per year, I am going to sell commissions like the previous time, I am not sure if I will continue posting during June, if you want to stay here, your money is safe and patreon will not charge you the following month. I am asking for help about hospitals near of my location today, this seems very hard in my state.
I only wish that my mother could live a little longer, she is so young and all this hurts me, I love her too much and all my work and effort has been for her recovery, I thank everyone for the support they have given me during these years because that was destined for his recovery in the past.
The comic will keep progress, recently I have not been able to think of positive things and that has been making it difficult to create panels.

yeah, you dont need to pause your patreon im sure all the money will help. If you feel that you cant accept the money without giving something in return just post old sketches no matter the state they are in. Other wise dont feel bad, the point of patreon and patrons is to make an artists life easier so dont feel bad, we understand.

I am sorry to hear about the current situation I had no idea. I agree with Braford I would say don't pause the Patreon even if you post nothing. I personally would not fault you if you wished to collect money while you are trying to take care of your mom. Take care. Stay strong.

I can absolutely understand what you are probably going through right now... I almost lost my mother last year due to unforeseen surgical reasons and it's really hard to stay strong during these times... I hope your mother will recover very soon. I agree with what Braford said as well. I understand the current situation and am ready to support you as much as I can, even if you won't post anything mext month.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope everything goes well for you all. Maybe you should consider not pausing your patreon this month even if you can't post anything at all, it could be an extra help for you and I'm sure everybody understands. I mean, I don't want to speak for everybody else here but in special situations like this one it's understandable that you have to focus your attention to other priorities. You do an amazing work every month and I'll be happy to continue supporting you in any way I can. So take care of any priority first and don't worry.
