Fuller update coming later
🕑 Added 2023-08-01 04:07:11 +0000 UTCHey Gang,
Unfortunately had to do a lot of running around this month, so I didn't even get the week at the end of the month to work on things like I usually do. I did at least plan out a lot of my current projects, so I'm hoping that once I can sit down for a bit, I can bang things out quicker. There's a lot of things I still want to and need to get done this year, so I'm going to work as hard as I can.
Next up, I will be finishing the Shuten and the Vtuber set comms. The Vtuber comm is almost done, but just needs a few more hours of work. Then Shuten should hopefully be done in a few days.
Mythra's NNN part 3 still going too slow, so I want to focus more on it for August. I've been trying to change the way I handle bigger animations like this in the future so I can make them more efficient. The goal is to make my process reproducible so I can get these animations out to you all faster. I'm hoping it will help for the rest of part 3, and I already have part 4 storyboarded and part 5 is also in development as well. I think thinking of the animation as a segmented long animation, rather than several smaller ones will help, so I'm going to try and approach it like that. As for aprt 3 itself, right now I'm still polishing the "walk towards" animation and I'm now laying out the turn and sit animation, so hopefully I'll wrap that up in August as those are the big hurdles of the animation. I should have more to show you all soon.
For Palace of the Goddess, I've been updating it to Godot 4 from Godot 3 as I think it will help with a lot of small problems and make the project itself a smaller file size. I also ported Neko Touch from Godot 3 to Godot 4 for practice and it went pretty well. I'll most likely update that game later down the line as people were asking for one more scene and I had a few ideas for it. I never thought this small 64 x 64 game would be liked so much, so I at least want to give thanks for it. Back to Palace, I haven't had too much time to work on the sprites since I still have comms and Mythra NNN, so I've been trying to at least work on the coding aspects of things. I'm hoping to get a new update to y'all in around 2 to 3 months or so, hopefully earlier. Should add some new scenes for the Goddess Offering and the shooting game mini game, that should add a few scenes as well with Medusa. I hope you look forward to it and thank you so much for your patience with the project.
Anyway, I should have free time for the next few days so I'm going to try get the comms I mentioned earlier done, then do some project work. So, I should have another update ready for you all in a few days time. Sorry once again for no posts in July and the lack of posts in general, I'll do my best to get more content out to you all.
