Mythra NNN wip 9/30
🕑 Added 2023-10-01 07:07:20 +0000 UTCHey gang,
Sorry again for the lack of posts this month. I've had a project for work that we thought was supposed to be done in 3 months but now it's stretching to 6 -_- so unfortunately I haven't had as much time to work on things and usually just have a couple days at the end of the month to get some updates for y'all. But I'll still do my best to get as much done as I can.
Anyways, still refining the lighting for part 3. Just 2 or so more animation segments to finish, then the background, then stitching everything together. So I've been laying out some of the shots for part 4 as well for warmups. I had hoped to get most of Mythra's NNN done and then get back to regularly working at the start of the new year, cleaning up and releasing most of my projects that I've announced before or shown. But Mythra will most likely bleed into the New Year based on how much work is left. I'm excited to show you what happens in this series as I've planned a lot of character moments for both Pyra and Mythra that will culminate into a big set of animations. So I'll work hard so that I can share these ideas with you! I'm sorry that I've been on a hiatus/ haven't publicly posted for so long, but I'm hoping I'll be able to stabilize things by the end of the year and be able to work on things a bit more consistently soon.
Moving onto Palace of the Goddess, I'll be scaling back the project a bit. Before it was just going to be an animation focused game similar to Hilda's reward, but since Kid Icarus Uprising is in my Top 2 favorite games, I wanted to add a lot of other mini-games and designed some ideas that involved other characters and ideas, etc. That's what lead to the space shooter type game. But I got a bit lost in the sauce and now the project has been severely delayed due to my lack of focus. So I'll be focusing on just getting the base game down, which is the animation portion. And then focus on adding all the other bells and whistles later down the line in a DX version of the game. Mainly the Goddess offering portion animations will be my next priority. Sorry for being undisciplined when it comes to the project, but I'll do my best to get you another build of the game soon.
Moving onto Renapet, I had hoped to get some work done on it once I had wrapped up Mythra's NNN, but since Mythra got pushed back so much, so did Renapet. The game is still something I want to complete, but frankly I didn't at the time (and still kind of don't) have the experience to make it to the quality that I want it to be. The plan was to make several small games, specifically action ones, before it this year in order to build a bit more experience making action-oriented games in order to build up to Renapet, as it will have several bigger game components that need to mesh together. But I ended up using most of this year attempting to get my life together which didn't leave much time for things. And since people have waited for so long I want to release something that has more weight to it beyond just having one of the animations in it. but at the same time I don't want to sit on my hands and wait for some magical perfect moment to make the game. So even if it turns out to be ugly, I want to try and get a build out soon after Mythra is finished which I'm expecting will be early next year. There's a lot of factors that might come into play, but I'll do my best to make things work. Sorry for all the delays on this project and thank you for your patience with everything.
Anyways, that mostly it for now. I have a lot of things on my mind as I try to wrap things up for the end of the year here and planning my come back to things. I want to try and reward all of your patience with me, so I want to at least get a few game and animation projects out for you so that you can imagine what future projects will be like. I truly appreciate all the support you all have given me, so I want to work hard to earn it. I'll try to get more updates out for y'all here soon and do my best to get these projects finished.
Thanks again for all your support and have a great week.

This has always been a tough road to tread, but I believe in your abilities to make it through this difficult journey. You've been doing great already, and every update keeps me hopeful. Always appreciate your transparency with your plans on your works, and I'm still looking forward to what will come of them (especially still for palace)! Yeah it's been a bigger drain on me than I'd like unfortunately. But I'll hang in there and get it done so I can get back to making more stuff for you all! Thank you for your continued interest! ^-^

Condolences on your work project being longer than original predicted, I’ve had that happen to me before and it sucks to deal with. Still Happy seeing progress is being made not just on Mythra but for all the other projects you do. Always happy seeing updates from you
