Animation - The Bimbo Press (EB Tier)
🕑 Added 2024-08-12 03:04:04 +0000 UTCIt's done! It's finally done!!
I'm so super duper proud to share with you all my first ever bit of bimbo animation!!! I had the idea of expanding my bimbo press idea from a few years back (which was itself inspired by BSB's Kirugumi Press) and rather than go for the kind of 'motion comic' style that other artists have used (and to great effect), I wanted it to be a full fledged animation!
These 17 seconds end up accounting for over 400 individual frames!!! Now to be fair I did re-use some drawings, but still that's hundreds of hand drawn elements that needed to be cleaned, coloured, timed, etc. Suffice it to say my wrist is killing me, and not for the usual fun reason 😝
Either way I'm going to try and get back to the basics of pin ups and sequences for a little bit, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on this and whether or not you'd like to see more animation in the future. Obviously there'll be trade offs in terms of output, but if you guys and gals are willing to support it, I'd be happy to keep exploring this since it was a ton of fun!
(Attached is the file in case the video player doesn't work. I'm still figuring that all out!)
