Hi guys!
I wanted to ask you guys this to get an idea of how many people would subscribe for the game's future content.
I'll be transparent with you about this—I'm doing this for fun and to share what I create. But I'm also doing this to earn some money. My goal would be to be able to make a living from it.
The thing is, I earned about $150, which is not bad, but it feels a bit low for the beginning of a project, considering that I got a LOOOOOT of visibility thanks to Itch and Zone95. I doubt I'll gain much more in the next few days.
I shouldn't have published the game so early in development (Small amount of content/No save slots/Lack of Netora content...) I think...
Anyway
I wanted to know what you think about this.
I will publish the version 0.2 for paid members in 2-3 days

That's also why i asked about the planned update cadence. I think making a small demo-like update to release but then putting the hours in and get many good updates early on will greatly boost this Page. As an example the game Netorase Phone was a small game but the developer put up like 3/4 updates in the first month and 2/3 in the second, showing that with enough passion there can be quick developement. Of course Viviny shouldn't overwork themselves but the other developer also slowed down, but warned the people upfront, that this will happen as developement goes on. Now he is getting 6 grand a month and doesn't have to worry too much about his finances and can expand his game in peace. I will also probably subscribe to this project after seeing how the next 2 updates work out. I wish Viviny the best of luck with his game and can't wait to see the next updates. Always take care of yourself first tho!

Zan's right about the saturation of the market BUT i wanted to point out that the VAST majority of the games out there are not finished, abandoned or raaaarely given updates. I think that's where the key to success lies, to update consistently, to finish story lines and to be actively involved. I can count the games that are satisfying in the aspects on 2 hands may be, the amount of disappointment is way higher.

I think you might be a bit late to the ntr/nts phone game for the instant success you're looking for. You're in a very saturated market for this type of game. Alot of people are going to be waiting for that .2 or .3 version before they commit to giving any creater money. If you're here for the money then that's fine, money is important, but your passion for this game is what's going to make this game successful and is going to be what people join your pateron for.
