🕑 Added 2024-05-22 16:05:36 +0000 UTCI just wanted to put out a quick update for everyone about what I'm working on atm. While I still plan to do some development of Dine Out, to expand upon the fun guests idea and make family/fun restaurant establishments a deeper system, I wanted to explore some other things.
I've received a ton of requests from people that I return to My Wedding Stories. I had originally tuned up the weddings to work much better than the base, but EA put out a patch some players reported fixed it so I never updated that mod. In my own testing, Sims are super unresponsive and many of the activities do not work at all for me.
I want to make this much better and use the experience I gained working on Dine Out to try to make guests behave much more organically. No kneeling in the aisle or sitting cross-legged, singing over in a corner by yourself while others are making toasts, etc. I have a good bit of work to do to bring it back online but it shouldn't take awfully long. Turns out I did a decent job back then and understand a lot of what I was trying to accomplish with various changes.
I just put out an Easy Relationship Cheats Mod which is a two-click solution for relationships that should require very little if any maintenance. Turns out I need this for testing for weddings, so it's a nice helper tool for me for setting up various weddings with guests who will actually agree to be my flower pal or ring bearer!

I would love a Wedding Stories mod... maybe it could be a base for other event mods, like funerals? Fingers crossed for it not to be extremely bugged haha

Dine Out Reloaded is still working in the new patch! They did stuff around relationships and it doesn't touch any of that.

first I want to say THANK YOU for your mods; second, I think most people's confusion is coming because your mods are showing older dates and difficult to find any information on them being reviewed/checked/updated for new patches.

This is so cool and I'm so excited to see you working on it. Ever since Dine Out reloaded, I've been tempted to buy the wedding pack but I hesitated because of all the issues. If you manage to make a Wedding Pack reloaded the way you made Dine Out work, I'm absolutely going to buy the pack!

Wow! If you are not able to save Weddings in TS4 then no one can. Especially not EA as they created another bugs in the meantime by corrupting save files with this ๐ฉ 4 Rent Pack. Thanks, Carl.

Please! Weddings are still such a disaster. Getting everyone to sit for ceremonies never seems to work (even if they're already seated!) even with mods that claim to fix it.
