Sorry! Edit to add - is it supposed to be the case that once you start cooking, you shouldn't have your chef Sim do any other task? I queue up my chef (while cooking) to praise the waiter, and it's after that she won't pick up cooking again.

Thank you for this mod! I love it but am having problems playing as chef - my Sim just cooks for awhile then pops her arms up in a 'reset object' style, then won't cook any more. Also, my waiter just stands in place and won't deliver food. I have the settings set to only 1 group waiting, and it's a v small restaurant. Settings also set correctly re waiters deliver food, etc.

Carl, you're a motherloving genius, and I've had way more fun playing with your mod than I ever did with Dine Out. It worked great for the first few weeks, but for the last coupla days, my guests won't seat themselves (with the correct settings selected). Then, if I change it to "host seats," and hire a host, the host just answers the phone the whole time and doesn't sit anyone, either. Any pointers? Thank you so much. WIDLY thankful. <3

I know I might be a bit late to help you but we found in James Turner's video thanks to DeeSims guidance that the game saved bad objects on the restaurant lot. This is why players can't travel back. One thing you can do is put the lot on the gallery and replace the lot. I think James also tried building room tool over the areas were they saw the bad items while looking at the lot in edit mode.

Thank you! It ended up working after taking all of my custom food out and adding them back in. Once I deleted the local thumb cache like you recommended it worked.

I ended up clearing local thumbnail cache and it worked at least the next time i ted. def save before editing menus clear local thumbnail cache and it should work. still having this issue

Thank you for this mod, Carl. It is a game changer, as are all your mods! I am experiencing the time bug with my customers nearly every time now. They get their meal, and eat it, then no options to interact with them, but they act as if they are still waiting on service. Of course, their star rating drops to "1" after that. Then they leave. :) I think you mentioned that was fixed, but maybe I'm wrong. Just giving you a heads up though. Thanks again for all your amazing mods!

I'm having the same issue above with the crashing when editing custom food menu for a restaurant specifically the meal portion. When I take your mod out it let's me edit it fine. But once it's in it crashes my game every time.

Hi Carl, I just want to thank you! The first time I bought Dine Out I was super excited but I got highly disappointed and frustrated after playing it.Your mod literally bought joy to the pack! I saw the video, where James Turner played it and two days ago I installed the free 3.0 version. I had so much fun, that I just needed to support you and also play test the 3.1 version and I love it! i installed you latest Dine out Reloaded and Gameplay Overhaul and The Gametime Dev Mod says your two Mods conflict with one another. And so does Twisted Mexi Best exception Mod does as well. Will that cause problems?

OK important question then. Is the host station accessible to guests? They would route there THEN seat themselves. So it sounds possible they can't access it. It's a theory, anyway :)

I ended up moving it out of a subfolder within my mods folder and it worked! Now I can't seem to get patrons to come to the restaurant they spawn in the world but wont take a seat unless my sim walks over to them and seat them, I have guests seat themselves on. Im trying to run a reastarant with a couple and no staff. I do get the orange noti that the restaurant is not functional every time I open

Sorry I didn't respond quickly. I'm getting a lot of messages all over and missing things here and there. So responding just so others might see. The settings should appear when shift-clicking the ground in any restaurant with testingcheats on. It sounds like it's either that, or the mod isn't running at all. When DO Reloaded is running right it will make a lot file alongside the 2 files that come with the mod.

I don't think it's a good idea to mix them. I am guessing that would have to add on to the diner jobs and change the files directly which could undo changes I made in DO Reloaded.

Hi Dee. Do you have any custom foods? My mod doesn't interfere with the menu generation so I can only imagine it is some conflict with some other mod that could be interfering with restaurants. I have no idea how many out there might do so! It's definitely an unknown. We are able to edit menus fine with or without the mod.

Hi, Carl! I wanted to run something by you to see if you can help but when I have Dine Reloaded installed I can't edit a restaurant menu without my game crashing. If I remove the mod, I can edit the menu. I installed everything properly and I dont have the mods you listed that conflict. Any suggestions

Dine Out tries to make Sims sit, but sometimes they are allowed to do something and it causes them to stand. I'm not sure why. It's very hard to track down AI problems. Sorry to hear this. I'm working hard on DO but it still has issues. I'm going to have to reproduce some of these myself to figure out how to fix it. One tip is to never ever take order a 2nd time, it's a bug I need to fix.

Hi! I've been having an issue with diners not closing their bill and leaving. when they finish their meals they just stand up and linger and then get a mood that its taking too long even when they have already eaten. Any solve for this so that they pay and solidify their rating when they finish?

Don't know why but sometimes diners will suddenly stand up while eating or their food will appear on the ground and they won't be able to eat it.

Try go to 'game option' menu. Then choose 'other'. Tick 'enable custom content and mode'. Tick also 'script mods allowed'. Apply change then Restart the game. It works for me.

It's still relatively new so glitches are to be expected, they don't change that this mod is exciting for gameplay. I've been using it regularly and the glitches really don't bother me. Dine Out was such a big disappointment this mod really made it more enjoyable and it will only get better with each adjustment. I have faith in Carl and this creation.

Cool feature! Could there be a future option to set an average of how long food takes - or shorten it down to 30 minutes to an hour in sim time? Bribing could shorten to 15 mins or at the top of the list. I would rather my sims be doing other things than wait 2-3 sim hours for food. I have to start lunch at 8 am - which is still less time than without the mod but still a long time. Thank you for taking this on - I can't believe how glitchy this pack is and I love the option to take my Sims out instead of all cooking!

So check it. After seeing your message and some chat in my discord, I believe I have the solution to this and think players will love it. I can make it so that you can tag the other chefs as Sous Chef, which means they will help speed up your Sim when they are cooking but will NOT plate the meals. So having a sous chef will speed up your Sim's interactions, having 2 will do it more. This is the type of thing I think could solve the problem but also add some realism to the game.

Try the "bribe" interaction when you pick a table. It has $100 next to it. This lets your Sim cut in line to be the first one the chef will cook for!

I see a lot of improvement in the dining side of things! Are there any plans (and I may have missed this) to speed up food delivery when your sim is the customer? Sims are still waiting about 2-3 sim hours for their meal which is excessive. I have not downloaded 3.1 yet, but will today.

I love this mod; I'm finally able to enjoy a pack I bought 6 years ago! Maybe I am missing a setting that already exists, but I would like a way to establish Head Chef vs. Sous Chef when operating with 2 chefs. Right now my hired chef is making the bulk of the orders, but I prefer that my player chef (who has higher cooking skill) has first priority.
