Carl's ColorPicker helps you change colors on dozens of items at once, with a simple shift-click. Make sure testingheats are on, and you have the following options. Note that Testingcheats on must be active to use this!
Update v1.02 - Speed Increase
- On lots with many of the same objects, the mod gets a massive speed boost thanks to improved caching.
Update v1.01 - Critical Bugfix for CC
- Players who use CC should download this right away. The mod was failing to run with even one badly tagged piece of CC, so I've told it how to fail gracefully and resume its work. This should stop it freaking out because some random item lacks a name.
Shift-click a room: It will attempt to change that entire room to a color. It doesn't know which tags are available, but it tries.
Shift-click an object: It will know which colors are available, and let you choose from various colors. If other objects of that same kind are in the room, they will also change.
Shift-click a window or column: This will change all windows of that exact variety to the color chosen on the entire structure, same with columns. This is meant to be a time-saving tool.
Install Instructions: Unzip to your Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods folder. Ensure Script Mods are turned on in Game Options > Other or it will do nothing.
Make sure testingcheats are on so you can see the shift-click menu!

Strange! Blue should be the first on in the list. It's not appearing even when you do a shiftclick on the room? I will have a look to see if something has gone wrong.

I've tried it and it works great in live mode. But where's blue? All the other colors are there, but no blue.

Ok so I've done some testing. Apparently this mod conflicts with LBB grannies cookbook for some reason. With it installed the shift click menu refuses to show up, but as soon as I take it out this mod starts working as intended.

It's here!! Totally changed the feel of an entire house in about 2 minutes. This is super awesome! Might want to make a note in the post that you need to be in Live mode for this to work. I was confused for a minute too, lol

This doesn't seem to work for me so I'm assuming I'm having a conflict with another mod. The shift click menu doesn't show up at all unless I click on the ground or a wall and even then nothing changes.

It is highly likely there is a compatibility issue with another mod installed. We tested this on hundreds of objects. I'm happy to pursue compatibiilty with other mods, of course... but try shift-clicking an object and sending me the carl_colorchange log file to carl@carlsguides.com right after doing so (so the last one i the list will be what you tried) and I will take a look tomorrow. Sorry about the problem, but I'll do my best for you.

Shift-clicking objects doesn't do anything. There's either some sort of compatibility issue or it does not work. I don't see ANY shift-click menu with this mod installed, and there was surely one there before.
