This is the results of the stream! Yesterday and today I worked on a genital model for my dragons, and this was the result! It's an early 'prototype' to understand the workflow, and it worked out much better than I thought it would.
My goal was to make an attachment that utilized the existing scale texture on the model, so theoretically it can use any texture for the Dragon III model. It loads into place with a click, and has a few morphs to control opening and closing.
Some improvements would be its size: I feel it can be bigger, and its overall shape. Its flat and 'primitive' at the moment, so I hope to improve that next time. The challenge is the 'border' polygons where the model attaches to the dragon have to remain the same.
I will definitely be looking into making something with a lot more detail. I'm also looking to do a separate tail hole using the same process. It means that UB and AV with my dragons are just around the corner :3
Big thanks to all my supporters for this one! I would not be able to pursue projects like these without you. Once this is perfected, I'll make the genital models available to download and use for your own renders.
