In Her Shadow — v1.3.0 Update is Live!
🕑 Added 2025-09-27 05:54:50 +0000 UTCThis update isn’t huge in size, but it’s a big step forward in quality. The demoness has officially been upgraded to a Live2D animated model — meaning she’s now fully animated and reactive across the game.
She now moves, blinks, and reacts during battles, feeding, and menus
You can click her for some fun little reactions (yes, with sounds)
Working with Live2D definitely isn’t easy — but the result is absolutely worth it. It adds so much more life and presence to the character, and I’m excited to keep pushing it further in future builds.
Looking Ahead
I’m aiming to release the next update next Friday, and it’ll focus on taking Live2D even further. Specifically:
Dynamic stat-based growth — things like breasts scaling with Mana, muscle tone with Strength, etc., evolving across stages
More outfits — Right now she’s only available in her “natural” state, but the next two outfits coming are a peasant tunic and a sexy mage dress, which are my current priority
It’ll all be tied to progression and stats — and help give a more personalized, visible sense of how your choices shape her.
P.S. I’m afraid something might be off with how Live2D sprites load in some cases — so players may need to start a new game for everything to work correctly. Really sorry if that causes any inconvenience, and I’ll keep improving this as fast as I can.
