Small delay possible on 0.21
🕑 Added 2023-01-27 19:40:58 +0000 UTCYep, just a quick post to say the above is possible. It's almost done, I just figured I'd be upfront about the possibility that I might not make the end of January deadline I set myself. If I don't, then I won't miss it by much. I foolishly did what I always seem to do and commit to adding things that weren't originally planned part way through development. In this case, you now get over double the number of originally planned animated scenes, among other things.
Apologies for the delay. (If it happens. Game development is basically all I'm doing over the weekend, so I might still get it done in time.)
I think I said some time in the past that 0.21 would be smaller than 0.2. I think in terms of actual playtime if you just play one route, that's possibly true, but if we're going on content added, I think this is probably bigger. I think it's currently sitting at like 1800 new renders, and 150 new animations or something. I'll have to do a proper count when it's done for people who care about that sort of thing.
As you all know, it's a game where you can't unlock everything an update has to offer without playing it with multiple saves, so I'll assume this is fine with everyone :D
The next post from me will be the release announcement, hopefully before the end of Jan, but yeah, we'll see. Have a good weekend nerds!
