The disrespect Cruel Summer received from Taylor 😭😭 she got the Getaway Car treatment for sure 🤣 fans clamored for years for Taylor to make Cruel Summer a single and it didn’t happen until 2023 when the Eras Tour gave it the recognition it deserved ✨

This version of London Boy is so much more my vibe. The instrumentals sounds more reggea and its just elevates the song! I second, city of lover in paris. So so good. Its also on spotify so if you like a version better on that concert you can stream it

One of the reasons why it feels like Taylor had so much fun writing and performing Lover must be because this was her first album she fully owned after the whole Scott and Scooter betrayal. It must have been such an incredible feeling to go through something like that and stiil be able to put out your work and have ownership over it.

I always thought that Taylor did the Tiny Desk Concert on her own because of Covid. Only to realize now that it was a choice to perform the songs in a stripped back fashion so that people could see how the songs sounded when she was writing them.

As I said, she's a good singer. But she's not an amazing vocalist, there's a difference. It has nothing to do with whistle notes. It's tone, richness in the voice, vocal dynamics, and yes *sometimes* range. Taylor sings well, but I think we all can recognize what I mean. Doesn't mean I have any less respect for her as an artist. But as a reactor, I'm always going to be honest with my opinion

I read through a bunch of like the band’s, backup singer’s, and dancer’s posts when the Eras Tour ended and simply put, they love her so much and are so proud of her and it truly is such a heartwarming and clear connection she has with them and it’s beautiful!!

so yeah whenever an artist is on bbc radio 1, they have to do a cover! I'm sorry but she never performed cruel summer for the promotion of lover, I am only saying this because I don't want to see you be disappointed every time you watch something lover related ha ha but worry not you'll have your cruel summer moment later (I shall not spoil)
