Hahah, the total amount of layers (what the numbers show) is because I'm using the same canvas file for several drawings. Actually, that file there was started in October, so there's a good number of waifus in it already! As for the shading layer's blending mode, it is set to Multiply, indeed! Good catch. :3 Only in rare occasions I use Color Burn (or Linear Burn) instead of Multiply, but their effect tends to be too contrasting.

Hi! Sweet vid, I like your process! Are you able to explain how you do the tones? I see you make a mask, and fill a layer with a darker tone, is the fill set to multiply or anything? And why do you have so many layers! : D
