Episode 4 is my FAVORITE episode throughout the entire series. We get introduced to Claudia and her mind and see things from her perspective. Claudia is such a vivid writer and she is so imaginative and detailed with everything that she is feeling in her mind and body. I love that this episode introduces her in first-person narration especially. I can't wait for you to finish the rest of the season and watch season 2☺️❤️

I had to become a Patron and binge all these Interview with the Vampire reactions! Had no clue you were watching this and I am SO ready for your reaction to the rest of this show, Season 2 especially bc it is INSANE. Lestat was always a little questionable, but this is the episode where he just becomes "the white devil" in my mind lol he's hella entertaining to watch though! But yeah Louis and Claudia make me so sad and I want better for them. Also glad you called out Daniel! A lot of people think Louis was wrong for manipulating his body, considering Daniel's Parkinson's and yeah that's not cool, but Daniel was doing TOO much over Louis leaving out the details of Claudia's assault. It's because he doesn't trust Louis and he's clearly been a little wrong/off in his recounting, but that doesn't give Daniel the right to press a man about his daughter lol

Lestat has been on my sh-t list since ep.5. the man was already a menace but now he's a certified terror! And I'm glad we finally have Claudia. She's so amazing, character of all time!

The gothic tragedy of it all. The changes they made and didn’t budge on black actors for Louis and Claudia - added so much richness even tho a lot of hurt it stirs up. Fucking storytelling.
