Fluid Cube (Nvidia Flex Solver + T3D)
🕑 Added 2024-09-21 13:17:21 +0000 UTCIn this tutorial, I'm showing how I build this Fluid Cube system using Nvidia Flex Solver and T3D (3D Texture Operators) created by Josef Pelz.
Big shout-out to Josef for creating this amazing toolkit! You can download the tool kit from josef's Patreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/JosefPelz/posts
I've also attached the Transform Vector Component I'm using for this system.
Here are the links for the HDRI and Glass textures I used:

Hope you like it!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
The attached file corresponds to the official release version 2023.11880.

Does this have the capability of multitouch interaction? For example having invisible spheres and depending on the number of users, the fluid reacts to the collision with the sphere

Check if your input is a 2D Texture of the Nvidia Flex position and not something else. The point cloud T3D takes a 2d texture inputs.

Hello, T3D Pointcloud has an error in the internal GLS (the GLSL Shaders compile errors)

About Q2. I found my mistake, I used a transform operator instead a "point transform" before the T3D Point cloud

With RTX 3070, by lowering the resolution to 192, the fluid behavior is smoother and some how looks more liquid. But with clumps.

I’ve sent you the link to the project file via direct message.

1. Yes, in "always simulate" particles move, thanks. 2. In surface component, the channel was in red, after changing to luminance, no significant change in appearance. In my case, it looks like a SLIME Mass with clumps not liquid. At the moment, I don't know what could it be. This time, I was used TD 2023.12000.

1. Try to toggle on the ‘Always Simulate’ toggle of the flex solver. 2. I think in T3D 1.8 you can choose which channel to use as a surface threshold. Try to change it to luminance. Let me know if that helps.

I have started with this tutorial. Q1. In min 17. When I toggle-off the actor1 render, and toggle-on the surface render. The particles don't move anymore unless I move/click the mouse in the panel. Any hint why? Q2. Also after adding feedback in min.20 the graphic result and appearance of my render is not SILKY like yours. In my case the liquid shows larger clumps. Any hint? I have checked already the parameters in the feedback and also in the flex solver (properties). I am using 2023.11880 commercial. T3D 1.8 Thanks
