Stop telling people 'too soon'. There are no rules with how one discovers BTS. You're being too restrictive to other people's personal journey/discovery. 🙄

BTW there is another guide on Youtube that is also really good from the Rice Squad and I prefer it to Taylor's guide. There often is some misconceptions created from Taylor's guide - like that Jimin learned contemporary dance first. He didn't, he was a hip hop dancer first and then moved to an Arts School and had 2 years of contemporary dance training. Plus being Aussies I think you will get the slightly sarcastic tone at times used which still makes me chuckle when I watch it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0KonKFssKnM&pp=ygUOcmljZSBzcXVhZCBidHM%3D

hey!! what i'd really love for you to react to is one of the fans' ultimate favorites and one of bts' classics: spring day. i'd suggest going blind into a first watch of the music video and then watch one of the analysis videos on youtube bc it's highly needed for that MV :)

To get to know armies better, try watch Boracity's video about BTS Armies.

Scar

I agree with this comment. Maybe make 2 reactions of the MVs watched already.

amajintete

I think you guys should react to live performances of the MVs you have watched and then go back to watching rest of the MVs and their live performances. I would like you to explore their years together as BTS first and not jump into the solo era directly. or simply, you can just follow the timeline and watch all the stuff which can be way better because u will be able see their growth through years also a little request, if you guys react to any new song, please be mindful of the lyrics, pay attention to them. BTS mostly write their own lyrics, especially the three rappers of the group. it tells a lot about them and also what inspired them to write it. RM usually has a poetic style of writing lyrics so if u go through them after reactive to the MV/performance, it would really great. thanks!

Bushra Khan

When you guys will post?

mishka

if you want a longer video: MMA 2019 performance (award show) is probably the best and most theatrical. if you want a shorter video, but with snippets of a lot of their songs: 2021 BTS room festa live where they’re just singing and hanging out. those two are a great place to start off!!

Marharyta

can't you wait a little bit? they're just starting, and anyway the more often there's gonna be content, the faster it's gonna be all over. don't demand like that, you could just ask

Marharyta

I agree with you about live performances and albums. But also, I personally think that solo stuff needs to be the last thing for them to see, because that's literally the latest thing BTS gave us before going to the military. I know some people might get upset over it, because lately there're a lot those who don't appreciate heir older projects, but discovering BTS needs to be done through group songs and in order

Jay18

I agree with you guys watching MMA 2019 since you guys JUST watched the guide. It will help you differentiate between the boys since they all get mini solos during the performance and it also SLAPS so hard and shows what an amazing group of talented individuals these boys are.

Caryn Anderson

I absolutely agree!!

Caryn Anderson

I think since you’ve already reacted to IDOL that you’d really enjoy their 2018 MMA performance. Good to know that the MMA performance isn’t even their personal concert - it’s a performance at an award show!! If you’re going to do the MV and dance practice reaction, then do “Not Today” official MV and the dance practice. Looking forward to whatever you all decide to do next :)

Caryn Anderson

Hello Guys :) I personally think when you’re just starting out getting to know BTS the best way is what you’ve been doing so far - MV, dance practices, older “everything” from when they first debuted so you get a better sense of who they are and where they came from. You will appreciate them even more if you see how they got to where they are now rather than jumping ahead to the newer performances. Just my humble opinion. No matter what route you choose - enjoy the ride!!!

Nicollete Kim

You can react to the live performances of the music videos you previously reacted to in your channel. For me, If you are new to exploring BTS artistry, it is best to start with the music and listen to them by album chronologically from their debut EP to the latest group album. After that, you can watch the live performances of the songs you're reacting to from the album. For solo projects, you can go through them by year of release or by member after the group albums. However, listening to albums can take time because you also need to read the translation of the lyrics. BUT, do what you think is possible for you to react, we'll be watching. Thank you!

I’d personally think y’all should watch The Rise of Bangtan first.. especially since you just watched the last one.. then I’d start with their first MV No more Dream .. then go up from there .. i thought it was easier to go back to the beginning and watch their rise up after I had watched the most popular ones..

Stella Bangala

Actually, the fact is that there are a some of their performances which don’t have any MV like Dionysos

I think you guys should dive more into their mv’s more before you do major awards performances.. and It would be great if you guys do a reaction of the mv then watch the live in your YouTube reactions. I hope also more exclusive content on Patreon. (Army if you agree like this so they see it)

Start by watching the live performances of the songs you already know. Since you love the dance practices so much, you'll get a real thrill of seeing them performed on stage (the goal of the practices, after all). BTS are among the best live performers in the world. billzzy

yess!! Their Bsides is so damn good

Rara_OT7

As always, RUN BTS (their variety show) is an awesome way to hang with them and get to know their personalities. Fly BTS Fly is a recent and a classic episode to start with! But beware you will have to read quiet fast coz the game instructions go that quick (of course you can pause) 😂

Rara_OT7

This is a good one! It’s a good sneak peak into their versatility as well! They might find some songs in their they want to react to in full ☺️

Rara_OT7

I agree as well. MMA 2019 has a lot packed into it that I don’t think they’re ready for yet. I also think they need to dive into more of their music before they can fully enjoy that performance. For now, I’d react to live performances of songs that they’ve heard so that they can enjoy and appreciate the performance a bit more!

Rara_OT7

MMA 2018 is MUST guys!! You’ve reacted to all but one song that’s in that performance (FAKE LOVE, Airplane Pt.2 and IDOL). So I think it’s a good one to start with if you want a taste of their live performances! You can react to Airplane pt.2 in the same video if you want to, to appreciate the performance a little more. It has a Japanese MV which you can react or the lyric video ✌️💜

Kamila Piszczyńska

That's true you need to see this

NILS

Agree. And if so, please watch Fake Love MAMA 2018 (in Japan) at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZzFqPF8OIc. It's the only one that shows the choreo and staging clearly; it combines the best angles from the only two available 'official' videos (that is, Mnet's actual broadcast -- which cuts away from key dance moments -- and BangtanTV's video which has bad audio and doesn't show the staging).

Chocco

MMA 2019 thats all i have to say 😮‍💨

Sophia Lyn

Definitely second this! It is important to learn more about BTS' bind through their music and some behind the scenes or short videos.

j

2021 festa bts room live is also a good video to get a few of their songs at one go :)

Taryn Jones

RISE OF BANGTAN IS GREAT!!

J-Lee

Agree. As I've seen a lot of MMA 2019 suggestions already, I pointed out that they need to get to the songs in that performance first. Coz like I'm pretty sure the guys are gonna jump into it when they saw everyone requesting it 😩

Sophia Lyn

Live group performances are a must because you should see and appreciate their synergy, enthusiasm and raw skills, vocals, dance and rap before delving a little more into their personalities. Mvs and behind the scenes for MVs, live performances and lyrics and artistry appreciation are foremost. Delving into solo work should be at the very last because you have to know who they are as a group and their bond and influence before starting to differentiate and see what each of the members bring to the table. Only then can you truly appreciate and understand. Happy reacting! <3

Kecia ⁷

100% agree. It makes me sad when ARMYs suggest MMA 2019 before reactors are ready. Most new reactors have no idea why the performance starts with a certain member, they don't understand why Boy in Love has the setting it has and how it connects to Boy in Luv. New reactors who don't know the discography have no idea why the lead up songs to Dionysus are in the order they in. Everything BTS does is intentional. They don't just pick songs at random. The Rise of Bangtan really is the best way to catch up and develop a better understanding of what's going. That just my opinion anyway.

Chelsea Agor

If you want to get the know the guys personalities, I’d recommend their. Variety show Run BTS. Also their in the soop series

Sneha Singh

Solos are the last thing for them to react to. That was the last thing BTS gave us before going into the military. Let them focus on the group first.

Momo

YOU FORGET THE BSIDES there’s so manyyy you still need more soooongs but maybe since i see a lot of performance request maybe one and one for some equality

지안 최

jungkook’s “standing next to you” &FIFA qatar worldcup opening performance.

Marharyta

Also, as many people are pointing out here, it's true that unfortunately the majority of voters here are not considering the fact that with BTS discography, everything needs to be in order, or otherwise you simply won't appreciate their music + performances that much. Maybe it seems like a lot of work, to read the lyrics, to study the storylines, to see the choreography and the concept of the songs before seeing how it translates to the stage, but there's a charm to it, that it's not just random setting or words (for example there're often intros to their concerts, which sets the mood or tells a story according to the songs they portray). It really is just never random with them (well, unless when they're just being goofballs🤭). Honestly, there is so much lore, that it would make sense to start from the beginning, from their first mvs, or even watch fan-made documentary The Rise of Bangtan, it tells you everything how did BTS even happened. But also, do it how you want it, it's your channel, and real ARMY appreciate when it's sincere, so you don't have to follow everything people tell you to do (especially if it's straight up demands). As for the live performances, good idea is to search some concert parts where there're 3-4 songs set, and it's better to watch something you already know, so the choreography is familiar to you. Or there're plenty of versions of one song performances, you can just watch several in one video, and it's gonna be all live performances of different songs, but not connected. There's no specific way how to discover things about BTS, you just gotta trust the process i guess🤩 (P.S. please please, don't do solos just yet, it gotta be the last piece of the puzzle, after all it is the last thing they gave to the ARMYs before they went to the military, your picture is not full just yet to throw solos into it)

I know I've said this before, but JK's FIFA opening ceremony performance was amazing... but you have to find the one that really features him... this one's not bad: https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=jk+fifa+world+cup+performance&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:214bef5f,vid:jEdfjuG0Fx4,st:0

You should watch the mma 2019 live performance with eng sub!

mirino

Really any performance from a concerts the way to go, you get the energy from the crowd, get to see how the boys are amazing performers, and live renditions of their song where they sometimes change it up a bit or have a live band playing. They have a few recent (pre-military service) concerts like Permission to Dance On Stage-LA, or their free concert in Busan. But really any concert performance is a must watch. Concerts are the epitome of Bts, they love them and you can really see that in their performances.

Please keep the solo stuffs as your last choice. Let yourself know them as a group, their relation and group dynamic first. please try to get to know about their artistry, try to watch mv followed by live performances.

Adilah

First time someone has the same name as me

Marharyta

i feel like solos are the last thing for them to react as it is the latest thing of bts' content, but whatever they choose🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ also, it's not a necessity to pick a bias, especially this early in their journey

Hafshah Adilah

Tiny Desk Performance maybe a good idea

ANGEL Mascarenhas

Yall should react to solos of their so yall get to know each member more and it will also help yall choose your bias

Ana

@Luna I'm everywhere BTS is like you 😂😂💜

enzo lorenzo

Very true, I agree 💯 with what you said.

Jaynette OT7

Hi guys! First of all, love your reactions! Keep doing what you guys are doing to spread positive energy and love. Secondly, it would be nice if you guys could react in this order. 1. Lyric videos 2. Music videos 3. Dance practices 4. Live performances This will help you to better understand the messages in their music and appreciate it even more. Not forgetting their creative music videos, elegant and powerful dances with their most high energy live performances. It is a whole package, and you will not be disappointed. “Borahae”

Wendy Vogel

At one point in you journey down the Rabbit hole, you should start with their very first MV "No More Dreams' and journey through each BTS era, it will give you a better understanding of their journey through the years from their teens to now.

Ace Queen

I second this, especially on your YT channel, it's better if you watch the MV, then the lives

luna

omg ana you’re here too? LOL 😂😂💜

luna

omg heyyy good to see u too !!

Alyson

I agree with this. I think the live performances would be more enjoyable if the studio versions of the songs had already been listened to.

Penny D Young

You should watch the MV, followed by a live performance. The problem is watching live without knowing the actual song. It might be a little confusing.

Trixie Bautista

Run BTS for fun hahaha

rachelxsv

their live performances will blow your mind, but please react to live performances of songs you already watched the MV and listened to, otherwise you will not appreciate the song as it should be appreciated; yes, they are crazy performers and put on a REAL show for everyone when they go live, but it is really important that you listen to a song in its rawest form before seeing them perform it! looking forward to more reactions 💜💜

Betty Suwan

Polls may seem like good idea in deciding what to watch, but unfortunately some people just act on impulse and not care so much about BTS’s music artistry and what it means to them. It is therefore hard not to feel that some voters are not true BTS armys because true armies will always advise to learn more about their music first and all the hard work they have put into creating these MVs for armys to appreciate instead of just choosing to watch live performances. Don’t get me wrong, live performances are truly the best to watch but as someone already pointed out it’s like reading the last chapter of Harry Potter without reading the beginning and middle parts leading up to it, doesn’t really show any appreciation to the creator.

jasna naushad

Can't we watch it for free???

Sokha637

I’m good with everything but If you guys decide to do the live hope you will watch BTS more her live a really good quality and they subtitle ..thank you 💜💜💜

Farah Haniyah Amany

Yess this too!!!

Farah Haniyah Amany

OH YESS PLEASEE!! THIS!!! Especially the contents about their personalities~^^

Sokha637

Is good to see you here too 🤗yes please do the reactions as a group first me too dont want and I’m already tired just to think about solo stand

j

oh god the results of this poll......as insane as their live performances are, please only watch the ones where you've already heard the song and watched the mv for. unless there isnt an mv for those songs, then at least hear the song and read the lyrics translation before you watch the live performances, bc you're gonna be super lost if you dont. you'll enjoy the experience more if you already know the song! :) that's on their artistry, but if you wanna know more about their personalities, run bts (their variety show in case you've forgotten) is amazing. you dont have to watch all 150-ish episodes, i'm sure we'd be able to pick out some of our fav eps for you guys :) cant wait to see you guys sink deeper into this never-ending (but thoroughly enjoyable) hole!! hahaha

Ana

Only react to the live performances of the MVs already watched please don't skip mvs

M. Leticia Guido Morales

In Mexico there is a psychologist who talks especially about famous movies and the psychology of the characters, and about a day ago he talked about BTS and I really liked how he encompasses most of what BTS is and because ARMY we love them a lot https://youtu.be/xNmDf85c0AQ?si=-1UXUpFFtybU_fCl

Shelby Raffi

I 2nd what everyone is saying! Watch some live performances of songs you've heard, then going forward, watch the mv and a live performance for new songs. Save solo work for after you've heard at least like.....25 bts songs. Interviews and content of them as people, as well as the more updated guide people have mentioned are also great inbetween!

Betty Suwan

I think you need to have at least a basic level knowledge of their well known songs which they have always performed in their concerts before you react to any of their live performance. Songs that you have not yet reacted to, to name a few: Fire, Not Today, Bapsae, Spring Day etc etc…..

Zoe

I think ya'll know the answer to this! haha

Betty Suwan

Makes a lot more sense to react to their MVs first otherwise it’s a bit like going to a concert listening to songs you haven’t heard before is not very meaningful and won’t be satisfying to watch. Unless you are reacting to a live performance of a song that you have already heard before I.e Fake Love then I highly recommend watching their fake love dance performance practice from the 2018 MAMA Japan

Fae

I think it would be amazing to watch live performances of the music you've already listening to, and moving foreards to can watch MV's or lyric videos for songs without an MV, followed by liver performances and also explanation videos for songs. I would also HIGHLY RECOMMEND another explanation video called "the long and help BTS guide" from purple snow - its up to date as of early 2024 and gives you a deeper insight into them.

shy thom

Thanks! I'll check it out!

shy thom

Well said. Unlike the "too soon" comments being left to other comments. A bit too judgy and controlling over something that's suppose to be fun. And a lot of us discovered BTS not in an 'in-chronological-order' way. It's completely natural. Each of our 'rabbit hole' of discovery has been different and that's what makes it so special!

Georgiana S

They will have exclusive patreon content as they already said. Most creators want some financial benefit out of this also, and because of copyright the songs reactions on youtube give them 0$ most of the time, so unless some do it as a hobby and don't need the money, most of them will eventualy go to Patreon.

luna

live performances or mvs. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave the solo work for later. bc if you start reacting to it now, you won’t get to know them as a group and see how their dynamic is. also, you’ll attract a bunch of solo stans and they’ll kill the vibe 🙄. so it’d be greatly appreciated if yall could react to solo work later :) 💜

Georgiana S

If they react to a concert, the best way to do it is from Enjoy BTS more Patreon page. The fee is very small, like 1$, and she has all their full concerts with full subs, lyrics for all the songs they may not know. So I hope more people recommend that when they get to concerts, I find it very helpful to have lyrics as even if they heard the songs they won't remember what they were about.

Sammy

I would also recommend watching some of their interviews: - How well does BTS know each other https://youtu.be/6jfIOa_zgRc?si=xlS1piZjTLwm1vg5 - BTS answer the Web’s most searched questions https://youtu.be/qsobCAGiuRU?si=jL0_3r_4gfAq81wj

amirah zakirah

you guys should react to the music videos or colour coded lyrics (if there's no music video for the song) first to listen to the music and read the lyrics its really important, then yall can watch the live performances because usually the live performances you guys can't really hear the music well because of the army's screaming/fanchants and low volume mics so yeah enjoy~

amirah mika

i would recommend a long and help bts guide from purple snow to deep dive into their struggles and individuals

Caryn Anderson

I really recommend MVs and some special stage performances. “Not Today” official MV and [Bangtan Bomb] ‘IDOL’ Special Stage @2018 MMA are my top 2 recommendations. Get to know BTS as a team before you break out into their solo accomplishments. Lyrics and understanding the meaning behind some of the songs will make you appreciate them even more. There’s just SO much to watch and learn - you will never cease to be amazed!!

Jessica_Hope

React to music videos first to learn the songs, lyrics, dances , react to the team first rather than solos and lives

Becca L

Please DON'T react to MMA2019 as you don't know the songs yet and there is no subs on award shows.... you can't appreciate the artistry of it all without knowing the lyrics.... MIKROKOSMOS and DIONYSUS are two songs you need to know before watching MMA2019.. They don't have MVs... so watch a lyric video.

Becca L

YES!! They need to know the songs before reacting to MMA 2019....

jane jeon

I would recommend react to this is bts, bts hardships 2013-2021, bts from nobody to legends 2018 and 2019 and this is bts army by xCelecte. Also more MV and MV’s explanation, their solo projects, dance performances, some interviews and behind the scenes and then live performances

Sandy

Learn about them as a group first. You will then appreciate them as individuals. It will all blow your mind 💜

Becca L

Too soon for MMA performances... they don't know the songs yet.

Becca L

Too soon... they don't know the songs yet.

Too soon for them to react to MMA2019... they need to know the songs first so they can appreciate the performance fully... especially Mikrokosmos and Dionysus. The Award shows don't have subs and there is too much going on to be able to read them anyway.

Shruthi Mariyam

I would recommend 'Introduction to BTS' by Xceleste or 'A Story of BTS by rice squad to understand their Journey more

Dayna Jacob

MVs, explanation videos, dance practices, behind the scenes, and lives for each song in chronological order and within that at the end of each year watch the MMA and/or MAMA performances. There are a few other note worthy performances to check out and some without mvs as well. One always has a little extra and you will know based on the views or guidance from patreons. And within there you can explore their recent solos from 2022 onward. If you go in order you get to know them as they grow and you will understand how some of the songs fit together... Explanations are also necessary for some songs/mvs. The lyrics and visuals always have meaning!

bell

2019 or 2018 MMA!!!

Ellie

All of these options are amazing, but it would be great, if you could also react to some of their shows like Run BTS, Bon Voyage, etc. You really get to know their personalities and relationship this way 🫶

sana and jimin's daughter

BTS MMA 2020

Thalia

Their concerts are great :) but I think it would be better to watch them after they heard more of BTS’s songs

Maricielo Villarroel

First the MV because you need to know more about BTS . Before watch LIVE PERFORMANCE

SparklingHolo

I think MV+practice+live performance+some bangtan bombs with behind the scenes. It would be like reading HP book first and watching first movie and some behind the scenes for it.

Betty Suwan

Couldn’t have said it better 👍

zan

U should do MVs, explanation videos, dance practices, behind the scenes, and lives for each song in one video... in chronological order. Only way you'll gain an appreciation of their hard work and progression through time. Skipping to lives is like reading the last Harry Potter book first.

Natalia

Those r perfect recommendations! Pls watch them🥳💜

tahsin khan

everyone’s saying live performances which i think is a given but pleaseee watch more of the group videos first! it makes the live experience so much better when you’ve already heard the song. also sometimes bts switch up the choreo/their performance of each song so i’d say get into more music videos first so you can see the original versions, THEN watch their award show performances, and then their tour performances. However, i would also recommend you watch their solo music videos right after so that you get to know the members and their styles better, because it’ll honestly blow your mind how diverse they are. their solo achievements from the past year alone have been insane, multiple bts members have been predicted by major newspapers to be nominated for the grammys this year, so it’s worth checking them out. when getting into the live performances you can see how they all have a unique flair that they bring together in group performances and i think that’ll make you curious about their solo careers. so basically 1. bts group music videos/content 2. bts live performances 3. bts solo music videos 4. solo performances

Julianna Pilegaard

2018 MMA is insane but every live perfomance is crazy!! But react to like all the mmas from 2016-2020. Also on Disney + there is a whole concert recorded live after the pandemic in 2022. Its Long but so good because you get to experince a whole concert

please react to live performances of MMA from 2016-2020 please

GOHIL KINNARI

I think it is important to understand BTS as a whole first then reaction to their Solo albums would make sense to you. BTS solo albums are more meaningful when you know each member on personal level, their each different personality, their styles in singing etc. Bcoz solo albums of each member somewhat reflects their personal lives (Though not entirely). So would appreciate you deep dive in BTS first would be my suggestion. Also for live performances 2016,2017,2018,2019,2020 MMA performances are great to watch.

anna quiedd

You are not ready for 2019 MMA Performance. Since you've already watched Mic Drop and DNA MVs, please watch their live performance with this link: https://youtu.be/dvsQoasKOtw?si=cNrX32xj06cDLIMY

Also, to go with my previous comment, you might want to start with the 2018 MAMA performance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZzFqPF8OIc). If you do, I would also recommend watching their acceptance speech, where they also won all 4 Daesang - biggest categories - awards, as it's quite emotional (https://youtu.be/vVs710bHkNA?si=u-mWx4Yd0cBK4uqc).

stefy As

pls start with bts debut song and live performance

Emily W

A MV suggestion: Jin's "I'll be there for you". Great song! Super fun!

Emily W

Yet to come in Busan Mic drop is super cool to watch, and you already know the song! Or their song "Fire" at that concert!

shy thom

My recommendation is to go with the MAMA 2019 live performance where they gave BTS 37 minutes (they also did a full sweep in the 4 Daesang awards; the four biggest award category). It was basically a mini-concert: https://youtu.be/k-0v1fNVdas?si=gxHmO81_5U-0_ggP

maryvv

Watch their documentaries, both group and individual. You can also watch the ones made by fans, you will learn more about them.

Cami Hernández

you can never go wrong with live performances💖 the MMA 2019 performance is EPIC you should totally watch it

billzzy

Jungkook "Standing Next to You" >>>

Yujin

After reactions the guide and some of their most iconic and popular MVs, you guys definitely have to see their solo songs. First, you can start from Jungkook (the main vocalist, also the youngest one). He is the guy who sang the song of World Cup 2022 and performed it at the opening ceremony. You can watch Seven, 3D and Standing Next To You by him. All of that songs gave him many incredible records.

NILS

I'd suggest one live performance of one song that you already know (and a special version of it, with extra dance breaks) - Fake Love at MAMA 2018 at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZzFqPF8OIc. Please watch this link, because it shows the complete choreo (it combines the best angles of the only two official broadcasts of it). As for MMA 2019, lots of people are asking for it but many also think it's way too soon for that one. You won't be able to fully appreciate it until you know many more of their songs, especially the older ones. After this live, feel free to dig into more MVs and more guides as well, and then get suggestions on solo songs. Cheers!

aisha damia

for the live performance, dont just choose the usual one like in the music shows, you should enjoy live performance like concert video or performance at the award shows, like MAMA or MMA (award shows name)

Sanam

Especially Dionysus live or mic drop/run BTS live from yet to come in busan which was their last live performance as a full team before going to military

Muriel Peralta

One of the 1000 reasons I love these guys is because they sound better live than their records. But they are also a lot of documentaries they have about their career you should get into it, as a band and about their solo body of work. Enjoy is a RIDE.

Deidre Brown

U could also watch their concert on Disney plus! It’s rly cool and it’s also a documentary! U get behind the scenes clips

My 2 cents worth of suggestions 🤭 BTS Tiny desk concert BTS Room Live BTS Dear Class of 2020 perf BTS live medley concert (any of them r soooo good)

Run BTS live in Busan!! You just watched the dance practice for that one as well!

Andrea Thomas

You could watch their Yet to come concert in Busan! It’s on Prime video

Seriously! Live versions hit harder and you can see the whole choreography when there is one. And those choreogrphies complement the songs. And I think the poll result speaks for itself ;)

Personally I think you should finish listening to their music first, (not every song) maybe do an album listen and then do live performances. Id also recommend once you've watched most of their MVS that you react to the HYYH storyline that runs through there MVS. Xceleste does a great explanation of it! https://youtu.be/2-DEu3ZJtEU?si=VUwmV6tPF0aip4_S

you won't regret it 🙌

i really recommend watching mma 2019 and 2018

Nazifa Moon

Just one suggestion, Whenever you guys watch a bside (meaning: the other songs in the album which is not the title track) song performance please always watch the color coded lyrics first then the performance to understand the meaning of the song also it will help to distinguish the members voices faster some earlier music video also doesn't have eng subtitles so you can do the same with those mvs 🤍 Af Taehyung (Channel) has the most accurate English translation lyrics Best of luck on ur journey ✨️ Some bside songs you can start with: Magic Shop, The Truth untold, Outro:Tear, Answer: Love Myself, Tomorrow, House of Cards, Home, Best Of me, Go Go, Anpanman, Love Maze, Dimple + Pied Piper (there is a performance together with eng subs), Zero O'clock, Di-ease, Mikrokosmos, Jump + We are bulletproof pt.2 live. Their vocals sound really beautiful in Japanese songs like Film out (MV & Live at Music Blood), Your Eyes Tell, Let go etc so hope you guys will gradually get to those someday.

Fluff Of Love

You can first watch the live performances of the songs you've heard before. Then the award shows. MMA 2019 is to die for.

krstn

you can do the solo performances later. i personally think the group performances are better esp the live ones

Weikan

Live first please..

s0phie

i think it's better to learn more of their songs like the MV's before moving to live performances so you can appreciate it more. just a suggestion ☺️

Bi

Before doing solo reacts, it’s better to know more of BTS themselves as group, there’s so much things to explore so I gen think you should watch the following: BTS live performances at American (Grammys/VMAs) and Korean award shows (MAMA/MMA), their concerts (the last one they did before they enlisted was for free and is available on Amazon),etc. Also it would be fun to explore the remaining MVs that you didn’t watch + watching the dance practice or live performance of that exact music.

Naomi

Either BTS TINY DESK ROOM or BTS 2021 FEST ROOM LIVE

Novi🧚‍♀️

Definitely do react to group activities first before you get to their solo.. and for the live performance i think its really great to start with MMA 2019.. Here's the full link for the full performance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k-0v1fNVdas

Don't forget Dance Practices, sometimes the live performances are filmed from so many angles that cut to and from and you miss the effect of the choreography/ formations.

Naomi

Jungkook New York live performance

In a way, it would be better if you knew the songs first. But maybe a wrecking-ball introduction live is what you need. Definitely MMA 2019 and the full concert Yet To Come in Busan.

MMA 2019. But pls watch first these songs before you get to that: Boy IN luv Persona by RM Dionysus Mikrokosmos The others are instrumentals so it's okay. Just these songs pls 😊💜

live performances of the songs you’ve already reacted to, just because I feel like it’s easier hearing the full songs first! butttt their award show performances are also killer so honestly whatever interests you guys

Faery

Solo mvs are still too early for you guys cuz you’ve just been introduced to the members so I suggest live performances definitely!

jfcincy

The solo releases (not performances) are a great to understand the specific talents and vibe that they bring to the group.

Rosielauren xo

You could watch 1 song per video, but include the MV, a live and the dance practice of that 1 song. Those 3 versions could make up the whole video. That way you get the full experience of that 1 song! There’s so much to go through and this way might feel less overwhelming. It also might help you to keep track of what you’ve watched Maybe do their solo work last once you know their group work first. Also, there’s all the behind the scenes stuff and travel/staycation shows. You won’t run out of stuff to watch xx

Chayma Farhat

Live performances especially MMA 2019 then react to their older MV’s I think that’s good before you can start getting into their solo stuff

Do not do solos right now You are still way too early in the journey Try balancing out between Bts mvs live performances (watch the live after you watched the mv of it ) and the show series run Bts Watch also Bon voyage
