Big'ol Monthly Post: Story Scenes & BJ Training scenes implemented! Builds begun! I've lost half my monthly income!

Act 0-3 Scenes Implemented!
As of now the vast majority of needed scenes for Act 0-3 have been completed, including one scene for the start of Act 4. That said it's all untested! My focus has been getting it all in there, now I need to double check to make sure everything activates where it should.
There's also things like if the dialogue has facial expressions configured, and other needs but at the very least there generally should be something to see.
The last thing missing is certain "generic" scenes, which I rewrote how that can be handled. We'll see how that goes but thats also something that needs to be finished for the steam release.
The "First night" scene is still devoid of any effects, so no wetness and other stuff will be there for now. I think that will come as part of the polish phase once everything else is done probably...
Blow Job Training Scenes Implemented!
While I said last month I didn't exactly plan to do these, given the recent news I opted to do them to get the game to a more "viewable" state and get to finishing the BJ training scenes in general.
As I said before though they're devoid of effects and likely will remain so until a certain polish phase.
"Conclusion" scenes are also not made or implemented, so that will also come with time. Those are fairly simple though.
Naiara Updates and Other things
A quick Naiara update I honestly spent maybe a little too much time working this out. Her look is more of a challenge than anticipated. Cause the concept isn't something I envisioned for long. The idea of what I'm going for is also a more challenging concept than "just furry" and I have to figure out how to make it work.
Additionally, this project is also going alongside generally just learning higher fidelity rendering methods so I can produce images with some regularity. This need to make Naiara less-human just kinda threw a wrench in things.
I have worked on rendering hair better though (this is still hair cards!), maybe this will have implications for Naomi down the line. As for the rest of her texturing, I'm very unsatisfied with it which is why it took me so long this month...
I did also try using Naomi's werewolf outfit as a temporary fix, but I'm unsatisfied with the result... I'll have to return to this later.
I have also considered making updates to Alex too in light of this hair work...
Doing the 3D render thing is just a bit more complicated than I thought, or maybe it's as complicated as expected since I avoided it for so long in favor of real-time.
Also, for anyone who needs to know Kalan is due updates soon, I'll tackle that when the build is released.
Builds Starting
I'm sorry I'm late on a release month, but know we're back on testing and shortly builds. I've made a lot of changes over the past few months so it's possible there will be issues but you can expect at least test builds on the discord in a week. Considering it's been a while I may have a bit of a longer test and fix period.
There's a few things largely untested along with some concerns:
An extensive number of animations have been added, roughly 200+mb of animation data. At the moment the way this is loaded is not managed so that means potentially 200mb of animation data added to memory. Likely a trivial thing for PC but a big problem for mobile! There complexities with loading this stuff as needed, it will take time to resolve.
The way animations are activated for cinematics has been changed, it's possible certain things like "blinking" may not work properly. As such these things may require re-implementation
Naomis new "look at" functionality remains untested in cinematics and in sex sim
Blow job trainings dialogue and activation I believe had soft locks last I checked so it will need thorough testing. Additionally, the dialogue for it is incomplete.
I attempted some fixes to improve coroutine performance, but I haven't fully tested the impact of these changes yet.
So, there might be a few road blocks.
In short though expect a release by the middle of this month.
Now the bad news!
The recent issues with itch have caused a serious problem, I dunno if I've said it before but sales on itch are actually more than Patreon and itch combined. It's what has allowed me to hire a writer consistently and occasionally additional 3D artists for work.
Until itch restores payment processing for adult games I've lost multiple thousands of dollars per month in income. And also as of now Our Apartment is still hidden on itch, so even if they do restore payment processing the revenue from itch may not return to what it was and may take time to recover.
Now all that said updates will not stop on itch, even if payment processing never returns. But this is a serious problem for the development.
I've already been on track for a steam release soon, but now it's even more urgent. Thats why I opted to delay the build a bit to get more animations in. Hopefully I can manage a steam release in a couple months.
But either way there may be some problems on the horizon. I believe I still make enough for licenses for things I use and to live off of, but I'm not sure if I can continue hiring... We'll have to see.
There're multiple campaigns going on atm, the change.org petition, efforts to start nonprofit advocacy groups, calling Mastercard and visa, please support these efforts where you find them.
Even getting a steam release is not exactly guaranteed, my publisher is a bit iffy due to Naomi's "cuteness" potentially being a problem. It's long been a concern even for Patreon. These issues permeate everywhere. I do have some aspirations to release on certain other sites, but I want to have the game more ready before that point. We'll see maybe I'll get desperate.
Conclusion
Thats all for now, expect builds to start over the next few days as I don't really plan to take much of a break. Windows will be first, then after that proves stable OSX and Linux will follow, and then when I plan to tackle the memory issues and loading stuff THEN android will follow because I believe at the moment it is likely even more difficult to run.
Also sorry there's a lack of in-engine previews, you'll get to see them in build soon. Just didn't make time for it.
