"It was a dark gloomy night...I was in the Cafe reading the paper. Outside there was a thin fog, the dimensions street lights shining like halos in the dark haze. I was working a case, but needed some time to think. But thats when i saw her. Miss Apogee. Across the Cafe she sat there, thumbing at a napkin. Her hazel eyes were slightly closed with boredom. The immense volume of her tail flicked about idly while she contemplated whatever thoughts she had. Her drooped ear twitched at the sound she made when tapped her fork against her long since empty plate. I didn't know how long she had been there, but when she finally looked up at me, it felt like I was trapped in her stare for eternity."
