Cozy Spaces - Thomas and Tamara

Not smut, but rather a little exploration into the spaces that our lovely comic couple likes to hang out in. Environment is a character of it's own, and somebodies space can say a lot about them, so as a storytelling tool it's pretty important. Of course I'm usually just drawing them naked and fucking so background aren't needed, ha haaaaa
I imagine Thomas used to do more heavy lifting manly man work, but after a particularly nasty accident and a decent payout, he got the chance to start pursuing an interest closer to his heart. Namely, writing, or editing. His previous work was out and about in nature a lot, so he finds himself missing it and therefore tends to surround himself with 'nature', aka lots of sticks, cool rocks, wooden boxes, and plants that he has a hard time keeping alive. He's the type to talk out loud as he reads, and so generally tries not to do so around other people as they always think he's talking to them.
Tamara has been harder for me, and I think that's because she is so much different than I am. More of a girly girl, loves scrolling social media and keeping up with TikTok trends, and has a more clean cut design style. She had to get a job rather young to help support her family, and so feels she missed out a bit on the lounging teenager days. Still, she enjoys that she can work hard and does a damn good job at what she does, which is a business and market related career. She is known to snort at a particularly funny video, and tends to stay on the lighter side of media/the internet if she can help it.
I actually have Damien and Megs space drawn out but myyyy goddd did I underestimate how long this would take! So mayhaps have it done early for this week, if not it'll have to be a next week thing!

I mean, I imagine that right behind his chair there is a pile of dirt that he keep forgetting about. π And YEAH BOOKS! I am overdue for a reread of a bunch of comics and novels I have, I like to leave them alone for a long time so I can kind of forget them then enjoy them again. Personally I love having plants but living in the basement with a window that is below the deck doesn't really allow them to flourish. So I'll just enjoy plant babies through my characters then! :D And thank you, your comments are always so nice and insightful, I really enjoy reading them and knowing that you can relate to so much of what I'm making. <3

I adore getting to see the spaces these two live in! You're right, environment is SUCH an important storytelling tool. <3 It definitely amuses me that Thomas's space is a lot like mine - only mine's messier, haha. My office has my desk just a couple feet away from most of my plants, which occupy the entirety of the window, and my bedroom has a lot of books because...books! It's always amusing to see what traits you share with characters, and I really do love getting to know all of them through your art - smutty or not!

Its my space. π Not really a difference, I just chose to have my name altered so I have some distance between my smutty art and professional art. Especially considering I'm going to be doing some tutoring soon, perhaps best not have student be able to search my name and see elf dick. π
