Getting the Shot

The light was bending a lot through the ripples, but there were pockets where you could definitely make out body parts.
“Oh, I see now,” I said, “damn, that would be a dope shot,” I told him.
“Yeah, but I think you’d have to strip down to make it work,” he laughed, removing his glasses to wipe the lenses with his shirt for the millionth time today.
