Hi there! I just wanted to provide an update. I found out that if I push the button to talk, then wait about three seconds after, it won’t have that little sharp frame drop. For example, if I say something like “show me on a traffic stop west bound *street name* *postal code*” and release the button, it would not have the sharp lag. This is because I held the button for longer than three seconds. However, if I do say “*call sign* 10-8” then it still has the little frame drop because I held the button for less than three seconds.

You have installed it incorrectly. All files go into the main game directory. However, you may have an outdated file that you are installing. For example, the RageNativeUi that comes with Grammar Police is outdated. I covered this info in my Grammar Police install tutorial on YouTube. Paste this URL into your browser. Go to your grammar folder that is inside your Grammar Police. For example I use the en-Generic. Go to Commands folder. Look for priority_tone.XML file. Put in other phrases if you like. To learn how to put phrases in, please watch my Grammar Police Part 2 tutorial linked above in this video.

Can't keep both, but you can mix the audio and only replace 10 files for example. if you want dispatch to say "On Scene Reference CAD .... " she will do that on your traffic stop and you can mix the two audio files. Unfortunately there is no way to keep the audio specific to both On Scene and Traffic Stop. Basically the audio replacement replaces that old dispatcher when she says "Approach with Caution" if you remember she did this on Traffic Stops and also when you told dispatch that you were on Scene. She never responded with that when investigation. I was just trying to make things more immersive. Feel free to leave the other audio in and keep the files the same if you like.

Hey Spuds, currently on the personalized Callsigns, it is set up on the slightly higher tier. It is at $10 on Patreon. Let me know if you are interested. If you do the slightly higher tier, be sure to DM me the callsign you want. Remember it can be anything actually. You are not binded to the norm. For example I have had a GHOST-35, an OWL-8 (ummm yep) and a PHANTOM type callsign. Those are just a few. I can get creative or you can be generic like myself to keep things easy and smooth.

Hey, so I am curious, I saw that someone also had the issue were dispatch reads a callsign as SAM Forty Four. You mentioned it being a personalized callsign. Is there anyway I can do that or if you can help me that would be great. Also, I love the videos.

I have heard of this happening before. I have read through Opus49's Discord (maker of Grammar Police) to see if I could find a good answer for this. Opus49 replied back to those that had issues like this and there was not an easy fix as he suggested it is more than likely the Speech Engine itself, and he even suggested to one user to perhaps reinstall Windows. To me that is a pretty drastic approach, but if I find anything else out, I will let you know.

Hi Benzo, thanks for the tips it has helped made my LSPDFR game very smooth. I do have one question. My grammar police is running amazing no issue. However, when I try doing push to talk and when dispatch response, there is a one second frame drop. Is there a way to fix that? Otherwise if I have push to talk off there is zero frame drops. That is very odd, especially since you are the very first person to report that issue. You are not getting any audio from callouts, backup units, pursuits, nothing? If the scanner folder is installed in the exact location, it might be on your end. Meaning something with your PC sound settings as I have never had a single viewer report this.

I have a personalized Callsign so it is read slightly faster and with better cadence. How do you have your Callsign written in your custom.ini? EDIT: It also might help if you actually bought the dispatch mod. Patreon is not showing that you even purchased it. So not sure how I can help you with your question going further. Perhaps you downloaded it from an unauthorized site?

Sorry it took 2 days to respond to this, was having PC hardware issues. To answer your question directly - You would need to have Stop The Ped installed to hear more speech like "Clear, Expired or Warrant, Suspended" You would also need to make sure that you have Plate Check set to "NO" It is discussed on this video directly at the time 29:11 ====================== If you have watched the above part of the video and if you ask for a twenty eight for example, and you are not getting any audio, then you would need to look at your platecheck.xml file. You might not have it set up correctly. If you download mine which is the link in the description, you can see how I have mine set up. I have mine set up as a "Twenty Eight" you would have to be careful saying "Requesting a Ten Twenty Eight" Easier to just have the phrase "Twenty Eight". But go off mine if you like and see how the phrases are set up and just make sure that you are saying "Dispatch - requesting a twenty eight" as an example. If you just say "Requesting twenty eight" it should work, but better to have the preface as Dispatch first in most occasions.

I am having trouble with my voice being picked up in game for the radio to actually respond to me. My mic is connected and everything on my computer says it is connected but when I say my callsign or dispatch I get no response?

Great question Snap. If you go to my website bluelinevibes.com/mods and if you look up Plugins, those are all of the plugins that I have installed into my game currently. Callouts on my website, I alternate, so I decided to leave all of the ones that I use on and off, on the website for easier access for everyone. Sirens are the same way as my callouts. Same with car packs, I use those on and off. I will typically use a siren for about a month and then rotate to a different one. Essentials on the website, are just that, essential. If your are asking what is the best plugins for immersion, that might be a harder one to answer as everyone's play style is different. For example Stop the Ped is not very immersive, yet It is the number one plugin that I need to even play LSPDFR. Same for Ultimate Backup. If your looking for those mods that I have found to be top quality that really adds to the gameplay, then I would take a look at Holster Sounds plugin, and Fast Draw. Fast Draw script is covered on a video over here on Patreon. Holster Sounds, I have not done a video on, but it's a simple drag and drop install. I use Fast Draw for the immersion as one button press brings out the gun/tazer/flashlight and I do not have to hear or see the weapon wheel for example. Another good one that most seem to overlook is Licensed Plate Randomizer. Gets rid of the 46EEK572 license plate that most of these popular content creators seem to not really care about, or their viewers. But I am different, I like things that are "Random", thus the plates will never be 46EEK572. Custom Pullover plugin, is another overlooked plugin. You can have the vehicle pull over better. Most everything I mentioned in this comment, you can find either on this Patreon or on my website under tutorials btw. Hope some of that helps.

PTT is "Right ALT" - however, I guess you can set it to Left ALT key if you want. The PTT sounds should be in your Grammar Police Audio folder in your plugins > LSPDFR > Grammar Police - If you don't see PTT sounds there, reinstall Grammar Police. The PTT sounds are covered in the video

It adds a lot of radio traffic. Sometimes the audio might play on top of each other at the very beginning for the first 5-10 seconds. After that, you can expect more info from responding units and dispatch to give out locations and mph

I am using Callout Launcher to test and trigger calls. The Callout Interface is nice, but I am also trying to lower the amount of plugins to help save FPS. Taking out Callout Interface, I was able to increase the FPS by about 3-4.

You will have audio on occasion for a Traffic Stop and other occasions it may say you are on scene, if you are okay with that, then yes you can mix them up.

You would be correct. Or at least it is a mixture of Female dispatchers from Indianapolis Metropolitan PD that is AI Cloned into a slightly modified version of that.

Doesn't sound like it is Ultimate Backup showing up, or perhaps there might be something wrong with your Config file for Ultimate Backup. If it happens near Vespucci or near Mission Row, might be just a bug that happens.
