Go to your carvariations file and edit the sirensettings line for the Flatbed model. For Example: I set mine to lightsettings value="0" and sirensettings value="1" Go to Mods - update - update.rpf - x64 - data - carvariations.ymt Right Click > Edit > Search for Flatbed At the very bottom, last line of that code you will find your sirensettings. Change it to "1"

Juat reinstall ELS Including the configuration and the new advanced hook. Should work. ELS has given me zero issues for years now

That is group backup. You can change the vehicle type in the config

So when I press control 1 for ultimate backup, the medics come in a police car, how do I get them to come in a different vehicle like a special fire truck or ambulance?

Same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. What I found was that the ELS.ini file had been changed by SOMETHING and the key values were 1 number off. For example, 220 instead of 219. I re-downloaded the ELS archive and pulled the ELS.ini from it and replaced my installed one. The re-downloaded one had the correct key values and now everything works great!

My els stopped working. I've installed it and reinstalled it. Updated with the new advancedhookv and still nothing. Any suggestions. Only the back lights flash. When I use control P nothing happens.

Nicely done, never thought of simply editing the els file to mute sirens!! Have you ever shared what model of tow truck you are using? Specifically for the small one? The default Mater looking one I have is pretty lame.
