Indeed, thank you very much for the Christmas presents. (this and the other reactions). So I went into this watch having read the book. I enjoyed the movie very much. It did justice to the book. Watching with you guys is always a pleasure and sheds new light on the story and its themes. (Aside from my daughter, you are the best movie watching partners). It was so nice to see your reactions to the romance, the friendships, the moral conflicts, and the horror of the games. I still have the same two questions from the book. When did his heart turn? What happened to Lucy? I like to think Lucy survived and lived a long life in District 13 or somewhere. Only Suzanne Collins can tell us for sure if she writes another book to connect the eras. As for his heart, there were clues, the conversation they had about where to live, city or country? His killing of Mayfair and definitely of Sejanus and lying to Lucy about it. Love seemed true, but trust was fragile. So it was definitely the unforgiveable lie for her. For him, snake bite? Star-crossed lovers? Great reaction, my friends. 🧲💕💕
