Slightly Bad News
🕑 Added 2018-12-12 15:54:16 +0000 UTC Hi guys, cedr777 with a slightly bad news. I know that it might be out of place to bring this up but...In a few hours from now there will be a scheduled power outage in my hometown (and neighboring hometowns) that will last 19 Hours.
Yeah, and that impacts my progress a bit, since I have no back up power to last me those 19 hours.
I really hate my Grid company, for the past decade their services has really declined, ranging from annoying 3-5 minute power interruptions to a frustrating 4-6hours black out...every now and then it happens and it really hits us hard since we don't really have any backup equipment prepared for this scenario. (Imagine working on the game for 3 hours then boom, lights out, data corrupted, f***k)
This led me to study renewable power a while back. Which is why, the first goal of this Patreon page of ours is to raise enough funds to afford emergency backup power (in the form of Solar Energy). So that we can keep working on the game without the fear of data loss due to sudden power outages.
Hate it but that's the downside of living in a third world country, sad.
