I was someone who fell pretty far behind in Elementary school, especially spelling (thanks, undiagnosed dyslexia!) BUT the Leapster games really did make learning super fun for me and I managed to get back up to speed ☺️ We had weekly spelling words and I always struggled but you could program them into the game cartridges and make games based on them. It was a super special fun thing for me at the time!

my brother had a leapster but just the normal one. sometimes he would let me play it and my favourite game was batman multiply divide and conquer; a batman maths game lmao. i had the good ol’ leap pad tho including shrek 2 book and a spongebob pen
