Hi Ashton, no matter what field you decide to work in it sounds like you’ll be doing important work, and that’s great! As someone that’s currently doing their 4th career change, it’s important to remember that you might end up changing either out of desire or necessity, so while finding the perfect job isn’t as important, doing something you’re passionate and curious about will always be rewarding. And as for the research you want to conduct, I’d just say that anything queer focused is going to be extra important right now considering the way the government is treating that kind of scholarship in particular.
