I can’t believe we’re already at the bear episode. I lost my job and got a new one since the start of the series, this one is a great one for sure. It has to be my favorite sports anime and it really is underrated af in my opinion.

The bells "repel" the bears by making noise, in real life most bears are actually really timid and just them knowing you are there will cause them to leave you alone. Most bear attacks happen for 2 reasons, either you have food in your campsite, or you accidentally stumble upon a mama bear with her cubs and she feels protective.
