Yeah it was his son, in a prev ep we saw that suit of armor with the necklace being able to break free from Aura's manipulation but sadly losing to her due to the scale and as a result lost his life :( it's rly too bad the graf never got to find out how strong and brave his son was in his final moments but at least thanks to Frieren they got his "body" back And yessss that was Dio!
