Patreon changes
🕑 Added 2017-12-08 19:15:16 +0000 UTC You probably already heard or read it somewhere; Patreon is changing the way fees are calculated. Instead of us (the creator) paying for Patreon fees they're shifting all fees to you, the supporter. Why? Because money.This is wrong, we don't like it and we wouldn't want it to happen.
There's a huge backlash from the community and creators to Patreon but we're not convinced that this will be easily solved. The only solution is to cut ties with Patreon and create a custom system for donations.
That's what we're doing right now. We'll be creating a subscription service using PayPal using which you'll be able to get exclusive content, keep up-to-date and support us without having to pay for Patreon fees. Once the new system is up, we'll suspend our Patreon account.
