Skins, Skins, Skins!
🕑 Added 2023-06-29 16:18:13 +0000 UTCI've finished the new batch of skins for Pawperty Damage's cast of characters: So here is a compilation of all of the new textures!
With the two skins from the last post, that makes 2 new skins for Mig and Thrash, and one new skin for Rache and Vrex!
If you're wondering why some got 1 and others got 2... There's no particular reason, heh. For the most part, it was just how easy or difficult a time I had to come up with ideas for some nice skins.
These skins will roll out with the game update that I hope to publish, some time in July.
The way I'm going to set it up (probably) is to make them a free DLC, on Steam: This way, any Steam user can chose to unlock these skins.
Like I have mentioned in my last post, itch.io users will unlock the skins by paying a certain minimum amount of money, for the game; alternatively, patrons will be able to download them from here and get them, that way!
(Technically, there is no DRM, or such. So any itch.io user would have an easy time to just share the skins with other people, for free... But then again, the same is true for the whole itch.io version of the game: It all somewhat depends on the honor system, so I don't sweat it all that much!)

Glad you like 'em! :D And yep, it's on both, Steam and itch.io! From a player perspective, Steam offers more features, such as Steam Achievements and Remote Play; on the other hand, the itch.io version is "pay what you want", so you can get it for free, if you chose! As a developer, itch.io takes a much smaller cut of the revenue. That means more money ends up in my pocket—requiring, of course, people *do* pay for it! Which is why I'm trying to use the skins to create a bit of an incentive to pay more than $0 on itch: 98% people who have downloaded the game on itch.io have done so for free Re: Scoreboard/FPS I actually have messed around with first-person view, and I can definitely say that this feature is most likely never going to make it into the game, "properly." There's simply too many edge cases and problems that come with it... HOWEVER, I plan to put it into the game as an easter egg that can be unlocked via a cheat code. So if people really do want to play with the broken mess that is the FPS mode they can, but no one is allowed to complain about the broken controls xD

Wow ! Now we have a freaking Meca-Godzilla ! I like it ! This skin is beautifully detailed, the work on the iris is very appreciable, it changes his look ! Rachel with a brown suit, cool ! It gives to her some self-assurance, lovely brown gradient on her paws too It's a pretty classic that I'm going to use! Thrash will probably scare me when I'll be in the photo mode ! I am always amazed by the way shadows and lights work in this game ! So, Pawperty is on two platforms? you prefere Steam or Itch.io ? Oh and..., I'm the "scoreboard and POV's guy" from the Steam Discussion ;) (Griff)
No new characters, outside of the custom character import feature that's still planned! I do want to try and add a bigger map, but can't promise anything yet

Any plans for new characters, new maps, or expanding the current map. When you become titanic in size the map doesn't last lol 😋
