Magical Hellhound Lust prealpha 2
🕑 Added 2025-01-19 00:31:35 +0000 UTCHello everyone!
I'm glad to present you today Magical Hellhound Lust (Saki's game) prealpha 2. This showcases the beginning of the skill tree, in an endless arena mini-game.
Progressed is saved and loaded automatically.
The game is available from the usual pinned post. As usual, this newest version is available for 10+ patrons.
The skill tree right now lets you upgrade Saki's base form with normal level-up skill trees, but also with MAJOR PERKS (that I will call Gems from now on because the placeholder asset I used is a gem). These Gems can be slotted into Saki's base form Attack, Dash or Special, and drastically change gameplay. Each skill (attack, dash, special) can be upgraded with 3 Gems, and there are currently 2 Gem types: ash and sun. Moon gems will come in the next update.
In total, there will be 3 skills (attack dash and special), for each 3 forms (Ash, Sun and Moon) to upgrade with 3 types of gems, and each skill has 3 levels of upgrades. That's like... basically infinite build possibilities.
Tell us what you think of this upgrade system after you tried it :)
Now, the fine prints: There is not a lot of stuff in game. No sound, almost no UI. This is because I want to avoid a common trap that I fell way too much into in the past: placeholders. I don't want to put music in game (because we will have original music!!) because it will become permanent. Same thing with the UI. I don't want to put too much in now because it will become permanent, and it's not even designed yet! Imagine the tragedy... Anyway, prealpha game is prealpha game.
Enjoy!

I get an error when clicking on the Mega download link that it is no longer available for violating TOS, the URL being invalid or that it has been disabled by the user

I KNEW I was forgetting something... that's all the controls indeed. Thank you <3

Not having the control made it a little tough, but I was able to manage. For the record: Arrow keys and WASD to move. E to attack. Hold E to use special and maybe block (is the blue thing about blocking?). Space to dash. Escape to pause and get the upgrade menu. N to strip. O to change forms.
