When Aziraphale received the assignment to thwart his adversary's plot to generate lust on the beach, he hadn't anticipated quite how effective the demon's efforts would be. He needed a new plan. Something to distract him and spark enough curiosity the serpent would follow him away from the beach. Once he had his attention, he'd lead Crowley somewhere more secluded, where his wiles wouldn't have a human audience to affect.
