I've been watching this movie for twenty years and I still can't find the part where Max said he wanted Alison to "change him." I mean, he's a 23-year-old high school kid with a crush on a 37-year-old high school kid. It's just a crush.

As someone who grew up in a rural area with lots of woods and hills... I assure you that it is entirely possible to fall down a hill at full speed and survive. Even to get up and start running again. I mean, I never did, I always broke or sprained something, but those little assholes all around me were invincible, it was quite frustrating.
