People don't realize that "coming out" doesn't mean that you sit your parents and friends down, put moody lighting on, put dramatic and sad music on, then sigh and let them know you like pussy in the most dramatic way you can think of. Doing something simple that everyone does - like holding hands - is "coming out". If someone asks who you're going on a vacation with and you answer 'my girlfriend' - that's coming out. If someone sees you two at a restaraunt together, if your parents ask you if you're looking for a boyfriend and you nonchalantly say no I have a girlfriend - that's coming out. You don't have to let it define you, you don't have to be political about it etc etc. I fully understand Leighton though, and she doesn't feel ready at anyone even suspecting she's into women, and she will likely find the courage to be herself at some point.

Yeah I love how the team defended her, I wasn't expecting it. And yes I'm really shipping Whitney and Kanaan I hope next season they can get more development
