I really love how they speak. When we think about the past it feels like an entire other world, especially when we see all the black-and-white pictures. But the world was relatively the same. Grass was grass, the sky was the sky, trees looked like trees. They really manage to make you feel like.. they're actual people, and not just 'weird alternate-world/the-world-in-the-1800s' The world and norms and culture is of the past, but the words are contemporary. Am I making sense? Cus I feel like I'm not making sense. But I like the show

God fucking damn it. His death made me so sad. I really liked him and loved his connection w Emily. I really didn't want him to die
