Maki’s such an interesting character. The way I see him portrayed is that he’s an asexual romantic, meaning that he doesn’t feel attracted to people, but he’s interested in observing romantic relationships from afar whether it be in real life or in fictional works. I don’t think he’s creepy more so he’s interested about love because he’s never experienced it himself so he’s interested to know how two people can love each other so much. 😊 but also the beauty of anime is that it often is up to interpretation.
