Loved the reaction as always Juli! I believe the family is meant to be Puerto Rican on the mom's side and Columbian on the dad's. I read an interview with Michael Cimino who plays Victor who said that Victor was always meant to be Latinx but they specifically made him Puerto-Rican and Columbian when they cast the family (I believe all the kids and the mom's actors are Purto Rican IRL and the dad is Columbian). The moment with the dad at the end was sooooo heartbreaking. I feel like that's worse than a parent just being outright homophobic, the idea that they're okay with gay people but if THEIR child is gay, that's the "unforgivable sin" or some other such BS. So happy you're going to binge the rest of the season!!
