I really freaking love all three of the main relationships in this show, and that, I don't think, has ever happened before!

I wouldn't mind a love triangle between Alex, Michael and someone else, just not Maria. I don't like it when 2 friends are involved in a love triangle. Their friendship is beautiful and I feel like this will ruin it

it really bothered me that Michael pursued Maria even though he knows that she is one of Alex's best friends

Would you post One tree hill today?

btw: I ship Michael and Alex too. HARD. they're soulmates, period. But I still love that Michael is bisexual and that there is zero shame in that. :)

I actually really love how this show deals with lgbtq people. they're just regular folks with the same problems that all the straight characters have too and that's it. Michael and Isobel are still main characters, they're still highly involved in the plot and everything and they're still important to the story, it's just another layer of their character, not more, not less. Even Alex's problem was never that he was gay, but that his father hated him for that. And this influenced how he reacted to Michael who was used to being the outsider, the rebel, so he didn't care if everyone knew he was bisexual and dating a man. But Alex did care, because it literally threatened his safety his entire childhood. And now Alex is grown and realizing that he is way stronger than his father ever was and that there is no shame in loving whoever he wants to love. And I think the show is doing a great job in showing everyone's sexuality without making it the only thing the character is about. Michael's sexuality i.e. is important, but that is not all he is. He's also in search for a real home, for his family and where he comes from. He's also a brother to Max and Isobel, he's also a science nerd with a cowboy hat. Just like Liz loves Max, but she is also a smart scientist with her own research and a sister and a friend and a latina. Everyone here has more and more layers and I love that about RNM.

So excited that you're gonna try to finish by tomorrow! Glad we--yourself included--don't have to wait another week haha
